Lakers are signing Dion Waiters. Their season has been about giving guys second chances and it's paid off so far! *Suspended I think 20 games this year* *Got crazy high on the plane and caught a panic attack* *Called out of practice and got busted on the beach* *Traded and then cut by Memphis* *Signs with the Lakers and has a chance at a ring* I forgot where I saw this earlier but it had me crying

Anyone else hate that during Hispanic month they just stick “Los” in front of the team names. Damn that’s stupid.

It's lazy and translating teams' names in Spanish can be fun and used as an excuse to sell more jerseys... but there are some teams that'd have a hard time translated their names to Spanish. For every Laguneros, Venados and Cohetes, there's some Los Veleros, Los Setenta y Seis-ers and others...

Watching the Raptors beat Golden State last night certainly gave me good flashbacks to the 2019 Finals.

At least they go with the actual Spanish name for New York with Nueva York for the Knicks jerseys. One of the few right decisions the team has made lately.
But Los Heat especially strikes me as lazy. It's even funnier when they do it for a team that plays in a city with a Spanish name like Los Angeles or San Antonio.

I won't lie, after that first quarter, I was worried it would be a long night for LA, but they really put on a hell of a performance in the final 3 quarters of the game. If this really is a preview of the Finals, we're in for a hell of a good one!

Giannis looked ok guarding AD, but Bron had his number. The secondary scoring AGAIN a problem for Milwaukee in the 2nd half. Khris and Bledsoe and BroLo all quiet in the 2nd half, and the Bucks were only marginally in it due to Divincenzo catching fire. Giannis tweaked his knee late and front iron'ed everything after that, including a very ill-advised late 3.
LA is mad deep. When you have a rotation of Davis, LeBron, Howard, JaVale, and Morris on Giannis, that's a pretty good group to shut down what Giannis does. And he still did pretty good, but faded late. Bradley and Rondo is a good defensive 2nd unit.

Kenny Atkinson and the Nets “mutually agree to part ways”
This is surprising and I don’t like it. He is a good coach and the reason the Nets were able to get to where they are now. Supposedly, some of the players wanted him gone

Supposedly, some of the players wanted him gone Sometimes the league is a little too much of a players league. Guys end up out of jobs because some players don't like the way a guy does his job. But imagine Pat Riley or Jerry West's career getting derailed early because of how they coached. It gets to a point where it's overstepping. The "Players play and coaches coach" mantra has been used to keep many an incompetent HC around, but don't push out competent dudes. I'M LOOKING AT f***ING YOU LEBRON.

Yes, the Nets are below .500 and don't have the record they had last year but we knew that coming into the season. I just don't believe he lost the players when half of the squad is what he had last year and they were going in LeBron did that shit way too much and if Vogel wasn't performing he'd be doing the same now. When he was talking about how he wanted Pat Riley instead of Coach Spo, Wade told him straight up no you don't. Riley is no joke and you will hate him. It is rare that coaches now have some degree of power. Coaches like Pop, Kerr, and maybe Brad Stevens are the ones who get to call their shot

KD isn't gonna be all the way back, and Kyrie is coming off a rough year. Adding a new coach on top of that is not exactly a recipe for success. I don't know what they expect next year, but they better temper expectations or it could get ugly. LeBron has had an incredibly positive impact in the league, but his two big negative contributions are the further devaluing of small market teams and also the progression of player-driven coaching changes. They were rumored before, now completely out in the open.

Kenny Atkinson would be a huge get for the Knicks, Hawks or Cavs.

That's unconfirmed At the very least, he did not have their vote of confidence because he would have still had the job if they said na he cool

They were rumored before, now completely out in the open. This can crash very easily. I said from jump, they have 3 guaranteed years of KD/Kyrie but in reality it is two since KD did not play this year. I just don't see them clicking off jump next year since they haven't played together which creates another obstacle and more pressure because going into Year 3, that's essentially their last year as either guy can opt out and leave Until things get better i'm going to keep saying they made a possible bad move letting D'Lo go

My immediate reaction was they need a coach to pander to their one-two, aka “A Tyronn Lue.”

They were rumored before, now completely out in the open. Magic Johnson was getting coaches fired before Lebron was even born. It's always been a star player driven league,we just know more behind the scenes now
