Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell have been cleared of the virus Rudy Gobert celebrates by touching everything in sight. Too soon?

Kobe's death was 2 months ago. It feels like it was years ago.

That's good to hear People expected a Knicks player to have it, not James Dolan so hopefully he gets better and is the only one on the squad who does get sick. Same for the rest of the NBA who hasn't had too many more cases since the outbreak last week

At least from what I heard.

Reportedly, ESPN is moving up The Last Dance to April instead of June. It's reported to start on April 19th.
ESPN is going to do bonkers ratings for this.

It's been confirmed to start on April 19th, two episodes every Sunday. Netflix have picked it up for the UK, where the episodes will go up the next day.

There is going to be a point where the NBA will just cancel the season because continuing it would jeopardize 2020-21. I would think if they can't start games until August, then the NBA would just close up for the season and build for the following season. In that scenario starting 2020-21 on time probably makes more sense then trying to cram 2-3 months of basketball before Christmas to finish up this season. I would think August will be MLB's breaking point as well since they wouldn't even get 80 games in if they started that late. July would be good for the NBA but they would have to go straight to the playoffs. Since the first round is basically a waste of time for every team in the league, that could be used as training camp to get everyone's legs back.

They also wouldn't likely waste time with a sizable training camp if they did return, it would hurt the quality but still an even playing field. I think with the talk of a 2nd peak in the fall/winter, passing on a summer playoffs for a winter start is short-sighted.

Since the first round is basically a waste of time for every team in the league, that could be used as training camp to get everyone's legs back. The NBA has about a 75% chance of coming back. They are still accessible league in regards to size and accommodation. Players may not want to spend a month in a Vegas hotel but that's the best option on the table at the moment. The League will give itself until July to get the playoffs started. Silver basically they are willing to go up until the first game of the NFL season so they want to be wrapped up by Sept As I said before, I can see next season starting by Xmas. 55-60 games with everything wrapping up in June as normal MLB is trickier. Weather plays the biggest factor so they def don't want to drag this past regular time. If they can start in June, then however many games there are from June to September is the season. Dragging this into November isn't an option unless you treat this like the World Baseball Classic and hold the playoffs in a closed dome like Miami, Texas etc

The NBA playoffs by itself last two months. Usually begin in April and end in mid June. Even if they started back without any regular season or tune up games, and went straight into the playoffs, they would have to start by July to end in September. If they started any later than that, it wouldn't be feasible because it would trickle into the following season. Even if they started the season on Christmas day, if the playoffs ended in October/November, there wouldn't be a lot of turnaround time. That's why I think they'll either restart the season in June/July (if they get the green light by then) or they'll consider other options if it drags beyond that. I think baseball has the same time frame but for a different reason (weather primarily), although as you said they could play in neutral domed stadiums into November if they decided to go that route.
I think July is the critical month for all the sports. If everything is good to go by July 1, then I think we'll see the NBA and MLB finish/start their seasons.

NBA should just cancel the season at this point and award the championship to the Bucks. Hopefully this will all be over by August and next season can start on time.

Then the Lakers come out with another championship trophy, claiming to be the real champions, and they fight it out in international waters?

Watching the Game 7 of the 2016 Finals on ESPN right now. It's crazy how similar LeBron and Iguodala are in facial expressions and body language.

They really missed the Kyrie game winner on the 2016 Game 7 replay.
