What on Earth happened in the second half? I saw the score was 63-47 Clippers at half and I check it again and the Nuggets are up 8 with 4 minutes left.

And now it will The Slippers ..they got more depth , better defence , mentally and physically toucher - Watches as they are taken to a game 7 by a Nuggets team who is coming out of a 7 game series against Utah.
I almost wanna route for the Clippers just to stomp out all that talk....but Denver don't quit and damn it the way they are playing I am rooting for them.

Dame wasn't going to beat L.A. by himself but people thought Blazers could at least give them a 6 game challenge and no one and I mean NO ONE had Rockets beating Lakers

I like the Clippers owner, and I'm a Doc Rivers fan, but something about this Clippers team I hate. It's grown as the season went on, and now I want Denver to beat them so so so badly.
I also think it would be an insult for Leonard and George to beat the Lakers, if they advanced, in the same year as Kobe dying. Good luck finding many fans in LA after that. If this was played in LA, Clippers would be booed all 7 games.

I like the Clippers owner, and I'm a Doc Rivers fan, but something about this Clippers team I hate. It's grown as the season went on, and now I want Denver to beat them so so so badly. If this was played in LA, Clippers would be booed all 7 games. Personally speaking, I feel like the Clippers have had this aura that they are owed the championship. Like they've acted as though they won it already and that they were taking over LA, but they hadn't done anything yet. They were acting like they were just planning the parade already. |

If this was played in LA, Clippers would be booed all 7 games. I feel like the Clips are less than the sum of their parts defensively. Much like Philly was or still is. Kawhi and PG are fantastic iso defenders, Bev is very stout as well, Morris is solid. But as a unit, they are getting torched at times by a team that isn't exactly the prime Warriors. There's also the issue of the massive mismatch at center. Jokic is the best big in the game, but Zubac is a mediocre center and Harrell is a complete liability on defense. It's not like other super teams who could use 4s at the 5 like Bosh or Love or Dray. Morris came into the league as a 3, so did PG and Kawhi. Their best line-up has a gaping hole at the 5. Also, Doc doesn't really adjust to slow runs. |

Clippers remind me of that kid in high school that thought he was destined to be given the starting QB role because of his enormous potential and god given talent, but then half assed practice to the point where backup QB's with less talent outperform him.
Then instead of putting in the physical effort to regain their starting job, the kid just starts whining to people in the lunch room about how good he'll be when it matters.
Clippers might still win this series (and the whole thing), but they've shown their hand. They act like they can control their on/off switch but they have proven they can't. This also feels like a team that could explode in the offseason if they lose on Tuesday.
That said, I'll still cheer for them over the Lakers and the Celtics. But GO NUGGETS!

The Clippers from the very start were self entitled thinking just because Kawhi chose them over the Lakers and then got PG and all the talk from the very beginning of the season that they are the favourites from just about every single analyst...heaping praise and praise upon them.
They have not put in the work because they feel entitled and are playing exactly like it and Doc is overrated as a coach...there is a reason the zen master during the 2010 finals said..."He doesn't know how to keep leads" how prophetic.
With the orlando Magic and with the Blake Griffin era Clippers blew 3-1 series leads and now he finds himself on the verge of blowing another 3-1 series lead.
