Makes sense in a way. Given her history with injuries.

Personally, I think she needs to prove she can remain healthy before any company would commit to her long term. I can see that being the main reason why Impact only signed her to a per appearance deal. With her illness and how often she gets injured I could see why companies would be leary of signing her to anything long term when going by history chances are she's going to be on the sidelines a lot and not being productive. At least on a per appearance deal if she gets injured you can just stop booking her and not have to pay her. Putting her in a tag team would be a good solution preferably with someone who is more durable and can take most of the bumps (similar to how WWE is using Alexa Bliss in her team with Nikki Cross right now) however other then WWE there really isn't any other promotion that I know of that has a women's tag division. Then there's also the possibility of her having a bad flareup with her skin condition which there's really no way around regardless of how much you try to reduce her bump card. Having her be part of a duo is still a good move though. She can play off people very well. I also want to be clear that I am really rooting for her hard. She seems like such a genuinely good person and I want to see her succeed to the degree I know she can.

It's too bad she got cut before WWE started having a tag division as I feel like that would be a good fit for her. Mainly because as you mentioned she plays off others well which was very evident in the Dana Brooke team. I think her dry too cool for school character works a lot better in a team playing off someone (especially a more goofy character like Dana was in their team) then on her own. I'm really rooting for her too as she has been one of my favorites ever since she switched to her Evil Emma character and look. It's too bad things don't ever seem to go her way. With her look and ability she's definitely someone who should be a lot more successful then she has been. Hopefully she can prove she can stay healthy and get a decent shot somewhere.
