I have a 13 and a half year old tabby rescue cat I adopted at the start of the year.
He's scared of everything except me and his food dish, he snores, he slobbers everywhere (he's had a few teeth removed), and whenever I try to get out of bed in the morning (he sleeps with me) he makes the saddest little mewpy noise you've ever heard. He has me wrapped around his paw and he knows it.
What pets do you have? (Pictures encouraged - I would, but I don't know how to post them).

10 year old Coton De Tulier. she's a dog who went through a very serious health scare almost two years ago (we almost lost her), but has rebounded back with more energy and 100% more bitchiness. she favours my mom, my brother, and then me. when mom leaves for work, she will come to my room and hang out with me, until it's time for me to have breakfast, in which case we move the party to the living room.
she has the most personality of a dog i've ever seen, and honestly, she is pretty damn cute.

Regalo: My Pom who’s..easily at 80-something years old right now. He’s an oldie, but he’s just like me. My boy. A little asshole who likes to be left alone. Still goes out independently, full head of hair, constant erections and eats like a pig.
TeeTee: She’s a 7 year old little mix, adorable spoiled princess of the house. Very pampered. Very spoiled. She’s a little brat.
Lola: The new one of the fam! We just adopted her and she’s a 7 year old blind poodle. She’s an amazingly good dog. I’m constantly surprised by how good she is. Also LOVES to walk despite being blind, just kinda struggles a little with surface variation or if she’s about to run into something lol..

This is the legendary stinky chicken, Mr. Max, who has featured in my signature for the past several years. He is a spoiled child who watches wrestling, game shows, and certain cartoons, dances, wants everything everyone else is eating, and constantly has things to say. I also have two hamsters, Ted and Oliver, and eleven parakeets. Brought home a female 'keet for Oscar after his friend Baby passed away and it all went downhill from there. Now there's Oscar, Bright Eyes, Fat Baby, Crybaby, Sweetie Baby, Ringleader, Bandit, Squishy, Bumble, Green Child, and the Little One.

I have two sphynx kittens, Bentley and Dexter (on Instagram as bentley_dexter). They are brothers from a litter of 5. They were born in January and are growing so fast!
Also, they are even more voracious than our last sphynx cat (he passed away 1/3/2018). I am also apparently their favorite person as they both want to cuddle with me when they are tired.

I have a 13 year old Akita/Rott mix. The neighbors got a puppy and didn't take care of it, so they were gonna dump him so we ended up taking him in. We didn't get him fixed, which was a huge mistake because the breed has a tendency to be aggressive, and it's way too late now. He's an amazing guard dog, and everyone thinks he's intimidating but with people he knows he's just a big teddy bear whose feelings are very sensitive. I can't remember not having a dog, but the bond with this dog is insanely strong. The Hachiko story in Japan really does sum them up perfectly. They love in totality and are unbelievably loyal.

That's Maggie, short for Maggot Ass,my 5 year old poodle. That use to be my chair. But over a year she took it over. And now I sit on the couch. Never taught her to clean her feet before coming inside. But she does it everytime after going outside.

Never taught her to clean her feet before coming inside. But she does it everytime after going outside. She probably learned it by watching you. I am convinced it is how our last sphynx cat taught himself to use the toilet. The best part of that? We used a lot less litter. The worst part? It's a tie between always having to remember to leave the seat down and the lid up or having him desperately insist that I need to get up so he can use the toilet RIGHT NOW. I swear, he was trolling me because I was the only person he did that to, which is weird because he seemingly acknowledged me as the household alpha (no matter how rambunctious he got or what he got into, I could simply lay a hand on him and he would go limp. That was practically the only way we could get his ears and claws cleaned as he fought it whenever anyone else tried to clean them.

I have one female, black and white cat named Magik. (Named after the Marvel character.)
Not quite sure how old she is but I got her in 2012 and she didn’t seem too old at the time so I figure she’s probably 7-9 years old now. It was the fact that she was mostly shaved at the time and was discounted because of that that endeared me to her.

Then Mary pointed out to me that unlike most dogs MAggie doesnt try to kick dirt over her poop/piss when she poops or pisses in the yard. I think when she is cleaning her feet on the rug she is actually thinking she is kicking dirt over her poop or piss in the yard. Either way it is kinda cute that this dog that took 3 years to get house broken learned how to clean her feet before she was even 6 months old.

She stayed with mum when I moved out of home, and only passed on a few years ago. Hopefully your Magik has a good long life like mine did .

So, let's talk about awkward.
Circumstances a long while back made me have to move back in with family, and I'm only finally moving back out this year.
Well, what's the point?
The pet in this house is a Border Collie mix, and if I had to guess, I'd say her other half is black lab. She's an absolute sweetheart, and all she ever wants from everybody is belly rubs.
The only thing, though, is her name. She had it before it became a problem, but "my" "father" (issues...) decided not to change her name after it become problematic.
Her name is "Isis".

This is Lucky. A 3-year old Askal (street dog), though the recent term people are using is Aspin (Pinoy/Filipino dog). A silly dog. Just easily scared or startled by all things. Once during a walk a plastic bag blown by the wind grazed him on the side, and he basically just jumped in a panic. Also a crybaby. If I go outside for just a walk, the moment I step out of the house and he realizes that I'm not bringing him along, he just starts wailing to voice his displeasure. Like, when I wake up, and he sees me, and finds that I'm just lounging around... you know, eating breakfast, just waking myself up, he starts making it clear with small whines that its time for a walk. That said, he's a quiet dog for most part. Doesn't really bark unless he wants a walk, or finds that I'm back home, or there's a motorcycle that's parked near the vicinity of the house. He just quietly toddles around the house, being kinda neurotic. Doesn't pay attention to TV, but kinda afraid of a bug zapper that's been in the house since he arrived. Like, just one zap and he runs and hides. Wants headpats all the time. I'd be sitting in the couch, and he'd nuzzle his head on my hand demanding head pats.

Sadly I'm Petless at the moment as our Dog passed away a few years back.
She was a mongrel, a mix of all kinds of breeds.. In the last 2 years of her life she became diabetic and had to be injected every morning.. However she became really ill and we had to have her put down.
Even now I still miss her, I do want to get another Dog again at some point. But I'm living on the 4th Floor of a Flat so would be unfair to do so.
