We move into 2014, which will have Nine Lists. This is the First. Vote for your favorite movie from this part of this year, and, as always, explain your choice (if you like), as well as mention any other movies you might have seen on this list, below.

We will also accept Write in Votes (although, please mention it as such) for movies not included on the list I'm getting the choices off of. However, I will not remove any from the list (I can't by that point), so, if you want to make your case why a certain movie isn't a horror film, make it. Hell, you might end up swaying a few voters from going in that direction, but I can't/won't remove it from the list or DQ it.

THE PYRAMID might be another "found footage" skit, but falling down into a pit of spikes ain't jolly let me tell ya
fun and frolics in an ancient death trap YAAAAAY
horrible deaths follow and you wander WHY ARE YOU GOING DOWN THERE AGAIN YOU FOOLS
and even Anubis was a fun monster/villain/wrong'uned

a really solid movie, not seen the tom cruise Mummy movie yet, so i can't say whether THE PYRAMID would have been a better start to the Universal Monster Universe ..... Monsterverse .....

TOO MANY COOKS...as in, the surreal comedy short from Adult Swim? I mean, I love it, it's the only thing on this list I've seen. But I'm still not voting for it.

A little under two hours left, and Biker Warrior...is winning right now, but there are a couple of movies not that far behind.

Even though this is a bit early, I would say that The Biker Warrior Babe vs. The Zombie Babies from Hell is the winner here, and will go on to the next round. I didn't see it, or anything on this list other than the Adult Swim short (one of two on this list), Unedited Footage of a Bear, which starts out being that. Then it becomes a commercial for a nasal allergy drug that eventually turns dark and twisted. I was surprised at how dark and twisted, given it was being shown on a mostly, as it relates to the late night fare, comedic block. If this was comedy, it was of the darkest sort. It was cool for that, though.
