I just saw this and it hit me {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}A virus consisting of nanobots that can be tuned to a specific individual's DNA? Where have I seen that before?

It was decent, but I didn’t love it. Definitely gets a boost from the emotion of knowing it’s Craig’s, and presumably the rest of the cast’s, last Bond movie but as a movie on its own merits I’d likely give it a 7. Definitely too long, underserved villain, uninteresting henchmen. Core cast killed it, I really enjoy Ralph Fiennes as M, Whishaw and Harris also quite enjoyable. Nomi felt like a completely unnecessary character. {Spoiler} and they did both Felix and Blofeld dirty. Both characters were squandered. Did not love that.

As I fanedit as a hobby, I've ironed out how to make the movie work with Skyfall/Spectre footage and keep it under two hours, thirty minutes The cutlist/timeline for anyone who's into this sort of thing {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}-Begin with gunbarrel/"Five Years Later" (NTTD) -Bond loses the data drive, shot by Moneypenny (Skyfall) -Titles (a fanmix of existing Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time to Die titles, with 'No Time To Die' as the song) -M and Mallory's conversation/M hacked/destruction of MI6 building (Skyfall) -Bond in exile/retirement. Meets Felix and the CIA mole, learns of MI6 attack (Skyfall), tells Felix 'he's in' (NTTD) -Bond in Cuba, finds Obruchev, Spectre destroyed, Bond and Felix betrayed, Felix is killed (NTTD) -A hurt Bond returns and meets with M (Skyfall) -Bond meets with Mallory and the new 007 (NTTD) -Moneypenny drops by Bond's aprtment, Bond plays a message from M instructing him to kill Marco Sciarra, with the implication being he is the one behind the bombing at M16, which will be important later (Spectre) -Remainder of NTTD plays out as normal, final fight will be altered slightly to remove Bond being inflected with the nanobots (this helps the ending make more sense), ending plays out and Bond seemingly perishes BUT... -Final act is Bond killing Sciarra (Spectre), the ending is left ambiguous as to whether or not this is set in the past or the present with Bond simply leaving everyone behind so he can do his job -End credits themes are "If There Was A Man" (The Living Daylights) and "All the Time In The World" (OHMSS)]

What’s this “License to Kill” film I’ve seen mentioned? There is no Bond film called that!

I finally got around to seeing it on Saturday for my birthday. I thought it was a really good flick. Definitely a great ending for Craig's Bond. And definitely cements my opinion of Daniel Craig as best James Bond.

Next time anyone brings up the “cinema is dead” line I’ll remind them that during a pandemic a film still took in three-quarters of a billion.

I just watched this and I have to say...quite the ironic title.
Definitely better than Spectre, but I'm definitely happy that we're done with the Daniel Craig Bond since I never cared for him in the role. I guess he's better than Roger Moore, but that's about it.
