Watched it over the weekend. I enjoyed the film for the most part and feel it is better than spectre. Didn't really care for Lashana Lynch' character as they seemed to run out of ideas of what to do with her halfway through the film. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I didn't really like the ending, but that's mainly because I'm not terribly keen on tragedy and go to see a bond movie for him to save the day and survive. On the plus side it follows the books a bit so they have an out for his return.

Saw it last night, and I pretty much enjoyed it. Gonna try and post something on the main site about it later, but it was at least on par with SPECTRE (and I liked that more than most, probably). Malek was good but needed way more screen time. A lot of the Roger Moore-ish camp was dialed down, but then again this is the dude behind Beasts Of No Nation and True Detective 1, so maybe I should have expected this more Dalton-ish vibe.

Watched this yesterday, and really REALLY liked it. Probably the first I really liked since Casino Royale. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} It was about time they dealt with the 'rapier' tendencies of the character. They did it pretty well too. I also have rewatched all of these during the pandemic and found that I tend to enjoy them most, if Bond is in some way grounded in a reality of consequence, (Majesty's secret service, license to kill etc.) so this one really worked for me. Having morale dilemma and stakes is not an problem. Also liked the Setpieces and Stuntwork.
That being said, I'm afraid the discourse about this is gonna go full Last Jedi soon. The Grifters are already baiting the Boomers on Youtube. -_-

Saw it, for the benefit of my friend who is a big Craig Bond fan. Liked it mostly, I really need to watch his line of movies I guess. Did you have to to understand this one?
The plot...um, about the timing and all...
Actually, I never really was a Bond guy, maybe I should start.

The plot...um, about the timing and all... It'd have been labelled 'predictive programming' if it had come out on time.

So is the Craig series worth watching beginning till end? Like I said I feel I needed to see the other movies to understand some of NTTD.
I probably want to do classic Bond too...recommendations?

As far as the Craig series goes.....Casino Royale , Skyfall and No Time to Die IMO all worth the watch but I guess if you want the full scope just watch them all in the order of release since IMO it is basically just one giant singular journey for his Bond anyways and not loosely tied adventures of previous Bonds. As far as classic Bond. Dr No - Just to see the very beginning of it all GoldFinger Living Daylights License to kill Goldeneye World is not enough The spy who loved me Octopussy Moonraker Live and let die Tommorow never dies Of course that is not everything but just some reccomendations and it is all subjective anyways.

My favorites are probably in no order: Spy Who Loved Me, Goldeneye, Casino Royale (Craig version), Thunderball, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, Live and Let Die (yes it’s problematic as hell, but still really cool), Tomorrow Never Dies, OHMSS, Skyfall and License To Kill.
Moonraker and View To A Kill are campy but I can still get something from watching them. Don’t watch Die Another Day unless you want poke fun at it and make jokes. Good villains wasted in a mess of a script.

My recommendations: From Russia with Love Thunderball On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Live And Let Die The Spy Who Loved Me Moonraker For Your Eyes Only Octopussy A View to a Kill The Living Daylights Licence to Kill Tomorrow Never Dies The World Is Not Enough Casino Royale Skyfall I have a heavy bias towards Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton.

Saw it last night and really liked it. I’ve enjoyed all the Craig era, except QoS. And I kinda like that the films seem at least semi-connected. My only complaint would That Rami a also was a little too numbly at times.

and back from seeing it on the big screen ... a year and a bloody half late ... SOOOOOOOO different from the rest of the craig movies in feel and texture but what a HELL of an ending to Daniels tenure!
not MY ending to his tenure mind, which i came up with before skyfall
i need to digest this further ...

I preordered this on bluray
nearly 3 hours in a movie theater with no bathroom break is a long time
and I don't feel comfortable in a packed theater right now for obvious reasons
the movie was the one I wanted to see the most in 2019 and greatly look forward to seeing it

I thought it was fine. Too long but fine. Certainly better than Spectre. Will be interesting to see where the franchise goes from here. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the villain. All I saw was Freddie Mercury!

and saw it on my tv ... so many little details i missed first AND second time around, make this movie incredible!!!
i also watched on her majesty's secret service before it, and even though it's a mess (definitely the messiest bond movie) it has it's cool things like some of the editing ... the brutal fight sequences ... and that end chase!!!
ALSO THE VERY ENDING OF IT!!!

Watched it last weekend and I really, really liked it. Clearly could've been trimmed down by 25 minutes, but I'm genuinely curious to see where the series goes from here.
Also: Ana de Armas ruled!

I watched Spectre planning to see this. It was so bad and boring it put me off.
