What would you say is the best moment you witnessed scrambled. Rich kids who parents bought all PPVs need not apply... also those who aren't sick enough to watch a dot for wrestling same.
I'd say I vividly remember Ric Flair's 1992 Royal Rumble post win promo.

Being such a massive HBK mark, when he won the 1996 Royal Rumble, I lost my mind. I was freaking out over the concussion angle they'd done with him, I was still 9 and very naive and thinking he might be gone forever. Hearing and "seeing" him come back and win was one of my bigger mark out moments as a young fan.

I remember being at a friend's house on the Jersey shore during SummerSlam 1998, and being stunned that the TV in one of the rooms, while scrambled, had the PPV sound going. I kept going back in there and checking out what was going on throughout the night.

I remember watching a scrambled version of Royal Rumble 2000, could see bits and pieces through the snow, but could hear it clearly.

I remember watching SummerSlam 1996 scrambled and Sid vs. HBK at Survivor Series that year scrambled with the Spanish commentary, lol.

Listened to the entire HBK/Bret Ironman match in the living room of my grandmother's house. I think that is part of my hatred of it today.

in the late 90s all the WWE PPVs where part of the Sky Sports package in the UK, so none of it was scrambled however the British only events, where PPV and I used to watch them scramble, in that time I listened to such classics as Jeff Jarrett vs Brakus, Droz vs Thrasher, Tiger Ali Singh v Gillberg (Singh made it onto 3 British PPV's in the late 90s), as well as a guarantee of the Heavyweight title not changing hands in the main event.
I miss those days where I just wanted more and more of the product

I watched scrambled WWF PPVs religiously. Sound quality was perfect. I remember one time the PPV company/channel accidentally showed a PPV unscrambled for free (it was the IYH with Goldust against Jannetty), but that was the only time.

I was glued to the TV during WrestleMania 12. Almost literally. My mom fell asleep on the couch and I had the volume low so that I didn't wake her up. I was practically ear to speaker the whole night...and I ended up tearing up at the end.
Moments like that just don't happen anymore, man...

Ooof considering that was the show that was so bad it caused Vince McMahon to throw down his headset in disgust at the end of it, in some ways you still got ripped off.
