I will say, if Suzuki walks out and isn't jumped by Suzuki-Gun, it'd be interesting to see if it all is resolved quickly who leads the faction, or if it becomes a war. If it is the latter, I could see TAKA being the guy who doesn't immediately choose a side, since I figure whoever he flocks to would be the natural successor. I hope Suzuki doesn't get jumped on the way out. I really love how Suzuki-gun is a bunch of maniacs/sociopaths, but still bros with each other. Iizuka's retirement was perfect in that respect, imo. |

No word on the teams for the Power Struggle tour which starts next Wednesday. Last year they waited until the day after KOPW, since they needed to debut Shingo before revealing the teams. This leads me to believe something will happen at KOPW that leads directly into a team or two. |

Looks like a good card. But...my heart can't take yet another Sanada loss to Okada. I can see them going the distance in this one, cementing SANADA as someone who can take Okada to the limit and setting himself up as a possible early contender for the next champion. |

Or they waited to October 9th, which is exactly one year from when they announced all the teams last year. The teams are: R3K Birds of Prey ELP/Ishimori Despy/Nobu Taguchi/Rocky Tiger/Uemura Volador/Titan TJP/Connors No Dragon Lee or Amazing Red, unfortunately. The TJP/Connors team isn't super random, as they hinted to their connection on Night 1 of the Super J-Cup. |
