How is it a good idea to bring in the guy who obliterated your biggest draw?

Hey, Looks matter. Presentation is everything. Bellys work for some wrestlers, but that’s neither here nor there.
You’re telling me, WWE, master of presentation. Obsessed with the presentation of every single iota of their production from angles to what color hair their superstars have, didn’t have a sit down talk about how he should be presented? Or they were all in agreeance “yeah, shirt off, awesome, with Brock??? Awesome” or maybe homeboy did it on a whim, Ima just say, it’s its own point of interest. His body is what it is and as much as “Holy shit Cain Velasquez is in WWE” will be talked about, you’re telling me his look isn’t gonna be brought up too? Both by MMA fans and wrestling fans? I think how he looked and how he was presented could of gone a long way. To echo what I said in another thread, it’s a disservice to a legit big signing from the get-go.
Hopefully it just passes, because he is a huge deal and this will have at least a little traction. But Roman wears a vest. Baron wears his shit. Why? You want them to look good. So make him look good. It’s not like his opponent, whether or not he was legitimately beat by him, looks like Brock f***ing Lesnar.

They sure tried to keep the camera above the dude's moobs.
Speaking of looks, his punches didn't look very good either.
I'm also on the list of people who at first thought that was Rey's "teenage" son Dominic when they first walked out.

He looked terrible. I don't care if he's a badass, he looked like an out of shape cholo from the block who's mad because someone stepped on his kicks. You're gonna be on Wwe tv, at least try to look better.

Man, I hope they just load Crown Jewel up with the most car crash matches as they can. Like, actively book the worst possible show and make that the entertainment value, since it's not like the Saudi royals know the difference.

Kofi's reign died in nine seconds because of a stupid Saudi Blood Money show ... I can't, I can't muster up words to how I feel I'm that beside myself.

You know what, good, at least they're getting this over three weeks in and doing it at their shitty blood money show instead of dragging it to Mania.

Not having a great body is fine so long as the overall look and/or charisma makes up for it. That's the reason The Fiend is main eventing PPVs rather than Husky Harris.
This guy didn't have any of those things. He looked like someone making up the numbers in The Ministry of darkness.

If being a real life badass mattered in pro wrestling then Ken Shamrock would've been the biggest draw of the 90's, not Steve Austin. The beauty of pro wrestling is that it's all about charisma, looking like a badass, and working together to present an entertaining wrestling match that people can get lost in and "believe" in. Hulk Hogan was not a badass but he's the biggest drawing star of all time. Bad News Brown and Haku could have legitimately taken out most of the roster but they never rose above midcard because they didn't have "it". HBK wasn't even the toughest guy in his own stable but he had charisma and ability which trumps any real life ability.
Brock works because he looks the part. I'd bet a lot of money that fans last night would have preferred Kofi retained in a good match rather than Cain debuting. The guy may be a legit badass but he seems to have zero charisma, a terrible look, and not much pro wrestling ability.

Not sure if anyone has said this yet but he really looked like a hurriedly put-together CAW

Speaking as someone who doesn't care about wrestlers having a great body OR about wrestlers' 'real life' toughness, I don't give a shit about this guy either.

Just gonna leave this here.. That's just not impressive to me. I don't know what it is but I'm not wowed by it. Like that dude from War Raiders can do this and more. I don't know, maybe it's because I grew up watching Kane, Undertaker, and Big Show, all in their prime, but that doesn't impress me, even by "big guy standards". I don't care how much of a "legit badass" he is, because he won't be legit fighting anyone in WWE. I watch wresting to be entertained, and call it a hunch, but I'm guessing the guy with the charisma of a used bandaid who looks like somebody shit into a flesh-colored condom ain't gonna do it.

I hear his cardio's great and all and yeah he can do some cool stuff but it's just not pulling me in. You mentioned charisma and maybe that's it because I'm feeling nothing really. Even Lashley has charisma based on his look, some guys walk good, some people just speak their charisma, some have a feeling of charisma like Brock but this dude. I'm just not feeling it. It's like...a CAW. It's hard to describe but that's what comes to mind.

Honestly if people have to be told and reminded that he's threatening then that kinda tells me just how much of a failure this was.

Brock ambushed him and stretches him out. People get mad because something who knows.Cain has knee surgery. Cain comes back to face Brock at WM.

I'm not even against Cain wrestling, just not with the "GUYS,MMA BADASS TAKES OUT EVERYONE" thing. Treat him as another wrestler.
Also doesn't help people are already tired of current MMA BADASS Lesnar.
