I do notice there is some mainstream coverage in the UK but it's all tabloids. The Mirror, the Daily Star, The Sun probably had an article as well. The Daily Star's article is a weird one because not only do they run with the debunked "WWE cut the feed" angle but they also identify Luke Harper as British for some reason. I mean if they wanted to highlight a British wrestler Drew and Drake Maverick were on the show and I'm sure they weren't the only ones on the trip.

And the contract extension stuff would only really depend on if you were a) injured for a substantial amount of time or b) didn't do all your dates. As far as I know, they couldn't just do that stuff willy nilly but then again, a WWE contract has never leaked out so we can't really say either way. That contract extension thing I'm sure wasn't implemented with the explicit intent of holding disgruntled wrestlers hostage to their deals. The original premise was almost certainly more well-meaning than that. Like, imagine being someone who blows out a knee with only a month left on their contract... WWE could just at the end of that month go "Well, good luck with your rehab but it's not our problem anymore" and throw them out on their ass with a bad knee and no way to make a living, or they do this thing with the contracts where they keep paying your downside while the rehab gets done and then reactivate the contract when the wrestler is cleared. From that perspective, then it sounds great if that wrestler still actually wants to be there. Yeah, I don't think it's malicious, it's more like with most other jobs where they make up the time lost from the injury or from lack of attendance or whatever unless cleared. Now where people find it weird and ambiguous is when someone like PAC goes home after using all his dates and doesn't come back which, under those very contracts, he has every right to do and the mere reason we know that was because PAC wasn't sued to kingdom come and WWE set time out to try and get him back. Now, WWE could solve this by making all their independent contractors employees and make clear policies on how that all works but...well, you know...never going to happen.

On his podcast today, Jerry Lawler talked about the talent meeting from Raw.
- Vince said he had never seen so many issues with travel happen at once in all his years in the business. He also said they will not be using Atlas Air in the future.
- A piece of equipment needed so that the wrestlers' plane could take off safely had to be flown in from Germany.

Lol, Triple H calling out Anderson sounds like newz.
It all sounds like a non-event of a meeting.

Lawler wasn't really clear if Vince said that part or if someone else that talked to him (Lawler) about the trip said it.

Ok, this puts more credence to my own theory on things than pretty much everything else so far. I mean, obviously, if Lawler heard it from Vince or if he heard it from someone else, it varies on reliability but still.

One year from now, let's see how many of the wrestlers are still with the company.

One year from now, let's see how many of the wrestlers are still with the company. My guess will be about 98% and the ones that leave will be ones that were leaving either way, it's easy to talk shit, it's another when push comes to shove, ask Ziggler how many times he bitched then signed to stay.

Yeah, the amount of money Vince will throw at them and it becoming clear that AEW are not going to sign every swinging dick that leaves WWE, I expect the majority to stay.

The only thing I'm going to take from all of this is that it sounds like Orton is that douchebag kid at the back of the classroom behaving like a dick, with the teacher continually saying to him 'Its your own time you're wasting'.
