I’ve also been working my way through it because of it hitting HBO Max, and I’m also really loving it. Looking back at the trailers they went with now that I am watching the show, I feel the marketing team royally screwed them over. They focused too much on the cursing instead of the actual legitimately funny comedy in this. Going off those trailers I thought this show would be dumb but, nah, there are some pretty good layers to the writing here. Kite Man is by far the biggest surprise for me. The show’s version of Poison Ivy is one of my favorite takes on her character and she is probably my current favorite in the show. The show’s treatment of Bane has me in stitches. His scenes aren’t long, but I love how he is committed to the whole “blowing things up” bit, and them taking the piss out of the Tom Hardy voice is glorious. Oh man and Alan Tudyk’s go as Joker is phenomenal! Obviously Mark Hamill will always be #1 for me, but Tudyk is a strong, STRONG second place for me. Especially for {Spoiler}{Spoiler}”Where’s my got-damned electric car, Bruce?!“ Yeah, the marketing and promos for the show made it come off like "LOOK AT HOW EDGY WE ARE!" when the show is really an R-rated, spiritual successor to the Batman: Brave & The Bold cartoon in terms of its sense of humor.

Ahh, I think the first season had a bit too much of that for my liking, but I’m not a mega fan of ultra dark humor anyway. The second season, though? Man, I loved a lot of that. Especially a lot of the character development. Joker’s arc is probably one of the best in all of his history, if I can be honest.

About halfway through the first season, absolutely love it. The first episode almost turned me off the show, but I pushed through and it’s gotten so so good. It’s like an r-rated Tick show.
Every villain has me wanting more of them, their characters are amazing.

The top-notch voice cast really helps.

It grew on me after some hurdles of them getting the edge out of them but the second season is really good in terms of character development.

I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and presume they mean oral sex in general rather than the specific act of male on female oral sex…..maybe? Perhaps? Am I being too generous?

Batman is not allowed to call himself a hero unless he does it. Simple as.

Honestly, I'd guess so; no matter how many "mature" takes on Batman exist, he's still a massive money maker for DC with kids and they probably just don't want to push it or risk some ridiculous blowback (hehe, you said "blow"). I mean, it's still dumb and the wording of their complaint for it is, pardon the pun, batshit, but even though Harley Quinn is clearly R-rated and makes no attempt to hide that fact, they're probably still afraid of ridiculous adults giving them grief for "having cartoons do THAT!" or whatever.

Reminds me of the Serial Killer Convention issue of the Sandman, where they had to remove a scene where a killer talks about masturbation because no one masturbates in the DC Universe. They kept in a scene where three killers talked about taking turns removing a reporter's eyes, gutting and deboning him, and skinning him.

Did they forget the Bat and the Cat in the New 52?
Actually that answers itself...
