I've always defended Corey's commentary but if this is how it looks he can get f***ed.

So he can’t commentate because he got criticized a little. I understand he has some mental issues but that’s really weak. Not everyone’s gonna love you so just deal with it.

There's a big difference between criticism from fans and a coworker, possibly someone considered a friend, openly and publicly shit-talking you.

I used to really like Mauro but he's just insufferable anymore.
I hope he gets whatever help he needs.

What Corey said may have come off dickish, and it certainly came out as incredibly ironic, but still, he wasn't wrong.

Yeah but people can’t just keep using that as a scapegoat or as a get out of jail free card every single time and I’m someone that battled depression for many years.

What Corey said wasn’t even that bad. It’s not like he attacked him and berated him. Came across as more of a joke than anything. It’s a totally different story if Corey went off on him but he didn’t.

in Mauro's defence he doesn't have a coiled turd on his head ala Corey Graves

Either ignore it or learn from it and make yourself do the job better.

No you don't if you're saying this about him. So having issues with depression means you cannot be criticized? That's not what my post means. There's a difference between a coworker and friend calling you to the side to criticize your commentary and that same person doing it in public where fans can attack said person given that's what people do on the internet. Now, because of what Graves has said, we've got people attacking Mauro even in this thread where for some reason people are bringing up that they don't like his commentary when the reality is it's bigger than that and it's about someone's health. You can criticize someone with depression but if you know that person has issues with things like this happening in public (like the JBL situation) then you're either an inconsiderate asshole who doesn't care or you forgot their issues.

Theres a way to go about bringing it up and in public on social media like a f***ing sitcom villain when the person who's better at what they do than you are has clear, obvious spoken about mental health issues with past, previously displayed consequences of doing so there to be never repeated by anyone with a brain. Corey's a mealy mouthed cross eyed shithead with zero clout in either wrestling or commentating and nothing he says is either worthwhile or worth listening to if his entire recorded career output is anything to go by. Mauro has zero obligation to work for these dickheads.

Corey did that shit for attention at the end of the day. There’s a way to address a valid criticism with your co-worker and going out of your way to publicly shit on them multiple times is not it.

Mauro CAN be overbearing.
Still, there was a way to do this, and it's having a private conversation with Maruo after the show and saying "Hey man, don't work so hard, and let us take a little of the load"
Putting it on Twitter was such a dick move, but that's what Corey seems to be.

Yeah but people can’t just keep using that as a scapegoat or as a get out of jail free card every single time and I’m someone that battled depression for many years. As someone who's battled depression for many years, you should know that everyone's depression is different and what happened with you isn't the same as others. Even so, that's not the point. We saw what happened with Mauro and JBL in the past and Graves doing it now is giving the same result.
This isn't about if what Graves said was right, this is about the fact that we know he has issues with this and Graves did it knowing what would happen. That's something he shouldn't have done regardless of people's opinion on his commentary.

also worth pointing out Mauro might not even be depressed about it - just demonstrating that Corey's a totally worthless wank in a company that lets utter bollocks like this go on. He's always got other optons, he might just love what he does and shit like this makes it very much not worth it.

He's always got other optons, he might just love what he does and shit like this makes it very much not worth it. Why is what he said being made out to be like he called Mauro's mom a whore and insulted his children? The guy commented on Mauro hogging every single second of commentator time. WHICH WAS TRUE. Is it problematic because Mauro's been open about his issues with mental health disorders, or because we don't like Corey Graves, because the message itself was not at all bad. It was factual.
