The Royal Rumble was certainly something I watched Sunday night.
Roman Reigns verses Baron Corbin was a decent match but it went too long. Trim five minutes and it would have been much more bearable. And if the WWE still did violence.
The Womenβs Rumble was just boring and had too many β?ββs in it. And Flair won, so who the f*** cares. But kudos to Beth Phoenix for keeping on keeping on way after her head got busted open.
I donβt even remember Bailey verses Lacey Evans, but how is Lacy Evans still a thing?
The Strap Match between Daniel Bryant and Bray Wyatt was good. Bryant still goes all-out when he really probably shouldnβt. My son started telling βYo Mamaβ jokes and we were too busy laughing at those. Not because they were funny but because of the things coming out of his mouth.
Bjecky Lynch verses Asuka dragged way too long. By the end I was looking for anything to keep me from passing out.
The Menβs Rumble was fine. The Brock stuff at the beginning did serve its purpose but it had played itself out by the time it ended. The second half was better than last years. Iβm glad Drew won.
Overall it was a show I watched on Sunday January 26th, 2020. I thought it was funny that Santina Marella got the biggest pop in the womenβs rumble.

Mixed bag of a show tonight.
The Falls Count Anywhere match was boring until the interference spots started, then it got fun.
I really enjoyed the women's Rumble. I marked big time for Mighty Molly. I was also pumped for Mercedes and Bianca dominating the first half was great. I popped huge for Shayna, especially when she went on her tear. I really thought she was going to win, but instead, we get Charlotte. (As an aside, props to Beth for wrestling most of that match with a cut on the back of her head.)
I wasn't thrilled by Bayley/Lacey. It was an ok match, but it never really went anywhere. Also, what's up with them apparently ignoring that Bayley lost the title for five days?
Strap match built slow, but was a fun little back and forth story. The Fiend wins, probably to set up him and Kane at Super Showdown. But the WrestleMania match remains unclear.
Becky and Asuka put on the best non-Rumble match of the night, imo. Becky taking Asuka's best, but looking beatable the whole time, then finally overcoming her past demons, it was a great story.
I hated the first half of the men's Rumble. Brock made about six of the guys he tossed out look completely ineffectual. I didn't mind the Shelton spot, or the New Day and Rey stuff, but a lot of the other guys deserved better. After Drew eliminated Brock, then Ricochet, I was like, "oh, this is what we're doing... Great..." But it picked up with AJ and Anderson. And THEN...
YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME...
That. Was. Awesome!!! Edge didn't look like he missed a step. I got a little scared when he took his first few strikes and bumps, but damn it, he looked great!! And the Rated RKO reunion ruled. Seth bringing out his posse made me realize Murphy didn't compete as advertised lol. I dug the beatdown on Seth after they ran the ring for a bit, really played up Seth as a cowardly slimebag who needs his minions to win. Edge was in the final three of a Royal Rumble in 2020. Let that sink in. I actually thought he might win it. But how awesome is it that he and his wife both competed in Rumbles on the same night and neither looked like had been away from the ring at all?
I'm cautiously excited for Drew to main event Mania. Him and Brock could be great, but I feel like they might have him challenge The Fiend instead. Either way, as long as they don't make him insufferable between now and then, I'm down for this.
Overall, a good show. I enjoyed most of the matches and it does build an intriguing story towards WrestleMania.

and the moral of the story is never bloody trust a canadian damn solid ppv i thought sheamus and shorty started it well andrade continues to be a quite good us champ good old rough and tumble match to get the crowd going, roman got a super pop when he won WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the haters bayley and lacey was just an all out brawl, should have knocked that stupid hat off her just for good measure both the fiend and bryan came out just as strong, from this public whipping becky "the irish lass kicking man" lynch and asuka "the green mist spitting japanese girl" asuka was probably my match of the night, two top competitors lugging it out the first half of the personal demolition of the midcard by brock lesnar (age 42 and three quarters) was all sorts of glorious, making mincemeat of them all but MY PICK DREW MCINTYRE chucked that out the window and only won the whole thing edge is still a bloody liar

saw the show to watch the women's rumble and leave it on in the background while I worked on the rumble stats thread.
Wish I hadn't seen it. Was almost entirely trash after the women's rumble.
Edge was cool though.

McIntyre was an interesting win, might keep an eye on that. No interest in another Becky/Charlotte program.

Man, this PPV was pretty rough.
Some of the matches weren't bad, like Bray/Bryan and Asuka/Becky, but even the matches that weren't bad had pretty nothing finishes. The only result that wasn't very status quo like was the men's rumble and the match was one of the worst modern rumbles in a long time where the journey wasn't worth the ending.

Corbin, Roode, and Ziggler is the most bland, 'Who gives a f***?' stable of all-time. I see that and raise you The Rising. They f***ing lost the match to MVP group and then proceeded to still have that group break up due to Joe quitting and Hernandez being an idiot lol

Bianca's conditioning and core strength is so f***ing impressive. Makes it crazier since I think a core injury is why she stopped in sports

Has Xia wrestled on NXT in the past year or was this another Bin Wang situation where they just drag out the Chinese wrestler for special attractions? She has wrestled a few times over the last few months. She cracked Aaliyah nose open Had a match against Shayna last month She's actually good

I GOT THE LAST FOUR AND #2 RIGHT IN THE PREDICTIONS. \o/ ... but where the heck was my boy Rusev? Losers like New Day and Rey Mysterio should stop "settling the scores", they just get hurt. There were bunch of jabronies in this match. Lesnar did amazing job, seriously. I got to see all of my fav dream matches.... Edge was fine and for once a surprise well delivered. I'm going to now jump into Claytrain~! It was this moment, when I started not to hate him:Holy crap, The Rock McIntyre in da house. Can't joke about this thing, it's pretty amazing. Even a cheeseburger joke. Freakin' LOL. WHO WANTS TO CLAY MY PENIS!?!

I didn't mind this show at all. I was kinda dreading it since I don't watch main roster WWE much anymore. The only match that was complete meh was Bayley vs. Lacey.
Other than that it was passable to good. Even the opening match, while it went on too long, picked up and was entertaining.
