Hated it.
Hated that he’s likely turning heel, if not now than in a few weeks/months.
Hated that his partnership with Bryan is over.
Honestly kind of hate that he’s tagging with Morrison again so soon. (You could have waited, guys.)
Hate that just when he’s in the world title picture, he gets yanked out.
Most of all, I hate that they muddled the difference between Bray and The Fiend—all so they can hammer about The Fiend changing people. Even when it doesn’t apply.
Miz being a bad face isn’t a law of nature. When he first turned, the crowd was behind him. As always though, booking will repeat its patterns.

The Miz is the more unlikable then Rollins. I hate his stupid cry face. His figure four looks like crap. 15 years of this guy floating around the midcard is unbearable. He was third wheel in his only Mania match. His offense looks like crap and his matches are dull. His a relic of the 00s and he needs to go.

I wonder what Miz would look with long hair. Add couple dragon suplexes and burning hammers to his moveset.

His first face turn flopped mostly because of him, but I put this failed babyface run on the booking. He cut an amazing face promo after Shane turned on him and the crowd was liking him, then they went and just bitched him out.

Miz simply cannot be a face.
I don’t know what more proof people need.
He is not likeable in the least . He is a fantastic heel because he looks smug and punchable and that is a unique trait to have because you have to be born with it. It cannot be taught. Miz has a natural “heel” charisma about him and the only way he can possibly be cheered is if people applaud how good he is at that specific role.
When they turn him face, his role changes. He becomes a cringey “family man” with daddy issues and it’s not him at all.
Miz has to see this, Creative has to see this.
Surely I’m not the only one that can see this?

This was the moment when I gave up on The Miz once again (for 14th time)

A real human being wrote the words, "The Fiend violated my home, the room in which my daughter sleeps".
And Mike Mizanan, a real human being, didn't say anything to creative about how f***ing stupid those words coming out of his mouth sounded.
The Miz was trash tier tonight.

This was the moment when I gave up on The Miz once again (for 14th time) I gave up on this version of Miz when he tapped to Shane's triangle choke of doom. I mean, yeah, Miz was worn down from a match with Elias (I think), but they could've at least done the pass out finish they love so much. I guess they think Miz is one of those guys who can bounce back from any loss with his mic work, but nobody likes a loser and that's what he became during that Shane feud.

I wonder what Miz would look with long hair. Add couple dragon suplexes and burning hammers to his moveset. Miz had long hair during one of those Challenges on MTV. Which is funny when people say he's a terrible face, because he was always like a super cool boy scout on those things.

Would still probably look odd after years of being the exact same dude.

Miz can be a good face, but they've poisoned the well hard with what a useless idiot he's been the past year. He won the tag titles a year ago and ever since has done nothing but get his ass kicked and host a talk show.

See I love the Miz. I think he's one of the most underrated wrestlers to ever live.
He's had countless good matches, that a lot of people don't want to enjoy because he works the WWE style of wrestling.
It's not the ridiculous series of fast paced counters, but at least everything he does matters and he doesn't do moves just for the sake of doing them.
That being said, I think the way he wrestles is better suited to being a heel. He needs to be able to work on top, and honestly his teaming with Morrison could give him what he's been needing since his IC Title run ended.

I haven’t been following SD too much but I liked what I saw with the Miz tonight. I do think he’s a better heel, I do think his recent face run had potential (before booking did what booking does) but I like the Fiend influence in his turn and the potential in reuniting him with Morrison.

I like Miz. He's worked so hard to improve his in ring game over the last few years and I never had an issue with his face turn this time round until this Fiend feud. Serious badass Mike Mizanin - even when fighting for his family - doesn't work. Miz can try to make the material work as best he can, but no one will buy it.
My only issue was his promo where he was talking about how Kofi has no idea what it's like to have your family messed with, and I was thinking "Actually he does - Orton did it a few months ago". I kinda want to see where this angle is going, because with Miz walking up the ramp looking broken at the crowd booing him and shouting back "Really? AFTER EVERYTHING I'VE BEEN THROUGH???"
I always remember what Mick Foley said Michael Hayes told him - "A heel always has to have the absolute belief that what he's doing is right, even when it isn't". Miz believes in kayfabe we've turned our backs on him even after the Fiend went after his family, so i'm hoping we get some very real promos out of him.

You aren't the only one with that opinion, but I don't think you are correct. With the right booking, you can make virtually anyone a hot face, especially in the post modern world of wrestling now. Failing with Miz AGAIN, against Shane as an opponent, and after the promo Miz cut, is entirely on the way he was booked. Listen to the face pops that MJF got in AEW for helping Cody, even when he was a career heel and did not remotely change the way his character behaved and every single person knew the betrayal was coming. Look at the kind of gimmicks that are baby faces these days that could never manage it a while ago. Brock Lesnar was for a while. PCO. Sonny Kiss. The Miz is a douchebag with a mouth and a cocky attitude, and last I checked many of the most over modern babyfaces have been that. Enzo for one. The Young Bucks. Even the f***ing Rock. Even in WWE, how many of their top babyfaces started out as heels who were just too entertaining and over? Velveteen Dream, Pete Dunne. The fans even still did Miz's catchphrase along with him at his peak heat as a heel.

Miz's failing as a babyface everytime they have tried it is that he never changed...I get he tries to replicate The Rock where he thinks he can just transfer what he does from babyface to heel but the thing is The Rock did a bit more than simply change to focusing his insults etc from babyface to heels just enough that you knew he was a clear babyface.
The Miz changes nothing...his candence when talking is the same , he dresses the exact same way etc not saying it needs to be a drastic change but atleast start dressing differently for all the shite Seth Rollins deservedly gets he atleast got that part especially now he he was dressed much more casual as a face and now he is dressin in leather jackets and such.
