That was "It's Christian." levels of underwhelming.
Guy has been gone for nearly a decade and gets a backstage segment.
Welp. We're off to a great start.

They spoil it first with a low key announcement on Backstage and then just have him casually show up literally backstage instead of getting a surprise entrance music pop. The age of non-excitement is upon us!

That's what happens when you return after getting over elsewhere. Christian, Drew, EC3, Lashley, Alberto (Yes he was a nutter, but he was over for a lot of his indie return)... They feel they need to be torn down, made boring then rebuilt to show them and the audience that they were only ever over because of Vince's creative genius.

I guess you could say his appearance didn't leave much of a (Johnny) Impact.

I should be surprised but am not surprised they treated his return like it was just this ultra casual unimportant thing. Oh well atleast there will always be the memories.

WWE also brought him in the same night Sheamus & The Uso’s came back. Could they not have waited a week?

We’re getting Miz and Morrison back together. I don’t care if the return was underwhelming, them together again will be better in the long run than a random pop on a surprise return then drifting around aimlessly.

I really hope there is a swerve coming Oh it looks like they getting back together so they have a tag match with the New Day and surprisingly lose (Miz takes the pin) and Morrison then turns on him...but he doesn't just turn on him now realizing what a loser he is but he turns on him also because of how Morrison originally left in 2011 and this is also payback for that.

Could be, but putting them back together gives New Day a fresh team with instant overness to work with. I think that's why New Day were specifically involved in Miz's angle.

His music never got pops though Yeah I wouldn't expect a glass shattering in 1999 reaction but he could have at least been in front of the crowd rather than just being on a screen. I'll be honest I couldn't even remember how his music starts and just looked it up after you said that haha.

That mnm theme got bigger reactions I think the miz showed why he was better in every facet Morrisons music in WWE not counting the MNM theme is too low key he needs something new with energy and Miz is in no way better than Morrison especially now.

It annoyed me how Morrison is obviously a ripoff of Jim from The Doors, but his music sounds like Hendrix.
Put Nattie with them for the new MNM. lol.
But yeah, the MNM theme is better than Miz, Morrison, and a ton of other themes today. Bring that shit back.
