Bron Breakker was only 3 years old when his uncle first won the WCW World title. Neither Austin Theory or Bron Breakker were alive when Austin and Bret had their I quit match at mania 13 Andre the Giant wasn't alive, either, just for different reasons. Eerie.

Reading YouTube comments on songs like “Trap Queen” by Fetty Wap that say things like “7 years later and this song never gets old” or “We can all agree: we miss these days”
f*** no we can’t all agree! This is still a new song to me. Way to make me feel a million years old guys!

Austin Theory was born one day before Summerslam 1997, now he's Vince Mcmahon's shiny new toy.

John Cena's first WWE title reign is closer to the first ever Survivor Series than it is to now.

Paige has been retired longer than her actual WWF main roster tenure length.

Just read that Austin was only 38 when he retired.
I turn 36 next month. I firmly reject the reality that I'm almost as old now as Austin was when he retired.

This is still a new song to me. Way to make me feel a million years old guys! I work at a college and I once heard some students talking nostalgically about 2014. My mind is always blown by that. It just happened! But then again, when I got to college in 2005, we talked about 1998 like it was 25 years in the past.

More time has passed since Bret Hart and Vince McMahon had their Wrestlemania match(if you want to call it that) over the Montreal Screwjob than gap between the two events(Survivor Series 97 and Wrestlemania XXVI).

Bradshaw's in-ring retirement(2009 to present) is now longer than his original WWF/E run(1996 to 2009).

It was the 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania 14 yesterday. It was a changing of the guard show that crowned Steve Austin WWF Champion for the first time. It is now as old to us as Pedro Morales’ WWWF Championship reign was to them.

It is now as old to us as Pedro Morales’ WWWF Championship reign was to them. Good one. For a time in the late 2010s when Attitude Era legends were owning the current crop of talent, that would be like Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, and Bob Backlund beating down and humiliating The Rock and Austin. What a way to build new stars!

This one holds dear to me since I was there live, but with Wrestlemania 39 half-over, more time has passed between Wrestlemania XX and now then it did between XX and the first Wrestlemania(which fittingly enough, both took place in MSG).

If Roman Reigns holds the Universal Championship to/past Summerslam 2024, that it'll be longer than half the championship's existence(debuting at Summerslam 2016). Also, while not the same lineage, it'll be longer than Hulk Hogan's first WWF title run(about 4 years and 2 weeks).

My wrestling fandom hit 40 years in mid-2023, so here's a result that gives you a little idea what World Class was giving us as I started watching it:
6/3/83 Dallas (syndicated TV taping) David Von Erich beat Jimmy Garvin, strap match Iceman Parsons beat Michael Hayes Buddy Roberts beat Kerry Von Erich Johnny Mantell beat Tola (The Great) Yatsu Chris Adams beat Lord Alfred Hayes, judo match Mongol beat Rock Riddle
David vs Jimmy all spring and summer long! Great feud. Freebirds vs. Von Erichs usually involved Iceman and Gorgeous Jimmy. I do NOT remember Lord Al being there at all. Mongol was Gene Petit (trained by Olympian-pro Dale Lewis), who would become the WWF Hillbillies' Cousin Luke. Also wrestled in WCCW before as Tom Steele in the "finals" of that Six-Man "tourney" on Christmas 1982. His partners were the Sharpe "brothers": Iron Mike - yes, that one - and Ben, who was really Johnny Mantell.

December 1983 - Hulkamania begins April 2001 - WCW folds.
Probably the most memorable era of professional wrestling where you saw the business change multiple times, some of the biggest names of all time and biggest moments- roughly 17 years and 4 months.
Since the Monday Night Wars ended, it's been about 22 years, and not much has changed in those last 22.
