.......What does bat even taste like? According to The Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, it tastes similar to duck.

Eating animals is arguably a bad idea (tasty though).
Eating non domesticated animals is certainly a bad idea (it’s why boar and venison are so rare and expensive despite both animals being plentiful, extra checks and balances have to be made by people in white coats before it’s deemed fit for human consumption).
Eating non domesticated animals that are rodents (basically) and carry a host of illness that are harmful to humans is a very bad idea.
Eating rodents that roost together in the hundreds is a super bad idea.
Eating such roosting rodents that can fly and cover much more ground picking up god knows what is a extremely b...you get the gist.

Stop eating bats and other shit that shouldn’t be eaten. Or as Anchorman 2 taught us, it’s “The chicken of the cave”

Come on, America, you're better than that. Americans didn't buy a 1/3rd pounder for the same price as a quarter pounder because they thought it was less meat. Also I'm freaking out a little because a school in the next city over from me apparently tracked Corona virus into the UK via a skiing trip to Italy, and my sister goes to college around there. There's gotta be people in that college who had siblings in that school and on that trip.

Come on, America, you're better than that. No, no we're not. Also, it's Corona. It was already a subpar product to begin with.

I’ll interject here, Canadian. Corona isn’t very good. People put limes in it to hide the skunkiness a clear bottle gives the beer.

Taste is repulsive for a beer. It's the closest to "drinking piss" someone could go without actually drinking it, I would say. No, I've never drank piss and I would urge any young readers to never do it either. Also never drink Corona, it tastes really REALLY bad.

He usually ate at least part of what he killed. That was until he took part in a wild hog hunt in Texas. By his description, he shot one of the oinkers and when it finally ran out of gas and collapsed and he got close enough to take a good look, he screamed out loud at the sight of all the fleas, lice, etc. that immediately started abandoning ship. Realizing what was on the outside made him horrified to imagine what was on the inside. He stopped hunting after that.

He really should have known that way before he bought that ridiculous hunting outfit I know he was wearing. The expression “You like sausage, you just don’t like seeing it made” was probably invented for me. It’s a wild animal. Figure it out. Also, the meat was probably fine.

There are way worse Canadian, American, Mexican, Irish, English, Czech, Italian, and Japanese beers. I sometimes think people talk shit on Corona just because they see everyone else doing it and just accept it as fact. Its like Budweiser, its far from the worst beer you can drink, and in fact its better than most beers in the world. Anyway, back to our normal pandemic discussions.

Come on, America, you're better than that. But it's skunky! Ever wonder why they say "a Corona gets its lime"? That's the only way you can drink it most of the time.

As things stand now, schools here in Japan are going to be closed from Monday until sometime in April. Masks and hand sanitizer are sold out everywhere and commanding high prices on the secondary market.
A lot of people are freaking the **** out and the news isn't helping to calm them down.
My company has cancelled all upcoming large-scale activities for until mid spring.

On serious and related news, I bought a bunch of water yesterday for the inevitable reminder to stay home for a few days and while it was cheap ($2.29 at Aldi), it was a bitch getting home.
I plan on grabbing some additional stuff over the next few days before the shit really hits the fan. I went through a norovirus episode back in November and the doctors said my sinus condition compounded the recovery, so if it gets into Indiana, people like me are especially boned.
