Now watch as Ted sells the mansion, winds up the ministry then declares bankruptcy, getting a slap on the wrist without paying back any of the money that was earmarked for the poor.

I'd heard about this whole thing a few days ago but kind of figured they'd just get away with it.

Here is the real estate listing for those interested: www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/115-Rosedowne-Bnd_Madison_MS_39110_M87805-69335?view=qvUnder $1.6 million isn’t really that crazy for a celeb house. It’s expensive for Madison, MS though. Currently it’s the second highest priced house in the city and may be even higher if the scandal wasn’t surrounding it. If you have $1.6 million there are worse ways to spend it. Just think you could walk around naked eating chocolate ice cream where the Million Dollar Man used to live.

I'm so very tired of my childhood heroes not being heroes after all. At this point I wonder how many people have resigned themselves to thinking that there is a chance their favorite wrestler has a crime that they're hiding? Wouldn't surprise me me if it's a significant amount.

I want to be all in on fandom with them but I keep thinking...watch something next year or down the road is gonna come out

We want to believe that people can be "perfected", that everyone can be conditioned to have the same views and values, that humanity's flaws can be ironed out and washed away. But as we're so often reminded, humanity will be forever flawed.

I'm so very tired of my childhood heroes not being heroes after all. Steven Tyler once said when you’re a kid, your hero is Santa Claus. Then the kid grows up, gets real life heroes, then learns real people have flaws. So he’s back to Santa Claus.
