How is it only 2000 dollars after all he's done? Unrelated crimes which Ezra has already paid fines for or had charges dropped/was never charged with.

If/When this movie comes out, it's gonna be a huge hit. Just for Keaton Batman alone. And the producers and executives that have been protecting and enabling Ezra Miller will point to the numbers and say "See, we got a big star here! He's worth the investment."

Erza has made an appearance in court to plead not guilty to burglary charges... this specific incident potentially could land them up to 26 years in prison if they are found guilty.
I don't think they'll get that high of sentence but with all of the other shit they've pulled who knows.

So, zero days in jail and about seven hundred bucks fine. To be rich and famous in America.

They let go of someone who's a much better guy and had potential for his character provided people could write it well. But keep this clown. Let's say it.... WB, DON'T EVER CHANGE.

That this thread started in April 2020 with video footage of Miller attacking a fan and we're still talking about what Miller has been up to nearly three years later.

They have to "keep him" until his movie comes out. It needs to be a huge hit to help dig out of their financial hole. Once its out and done I am sure he will be dropped very quickly.

That's likely the only direction they have, especially after having to scrap and shake around a bunch of other stuff.

Also, just as a general thing, Ezra Miller's pronouns are they/them. I understand how that's the least important thing of this story because of *shakes arms around* but that should at least be respected even if they're a giant prick (to put it lightly).

I see we've reached the "sweep everything under the red carpet" stage of things.
No doubt an oh-so-sincere mea culpa will be forthcoming in the media rounds before all guns blazing on the publicity blitz. Warner are desperate for a massive hit.

I'm going to do something that I'll probably end up regretting and defend Gunn here:
At this late date, having dropped another hundred or so million into production, and with the specter of the far less toxic Batgirl being unpersoned over "quality" (from the same studio that put out Black Adam, no less), I imagine there's a certain degree of sunk cost attached to The Flash (i.e., as long as this movie gets with in spitting distance of a billion, it'll all be worth it). To that end, until this movie actually hits theaters and we get an idea of how well it's going to do, it's going to be hard to gauge how anyone at Warner Bros really feels about Ezra, especially at the executive level. I mean, the Aquaman and Shazam sequels are already being looked at as lame ducks, and that's with both stars confirmed as staying on (for now). What would it look like for the "Kevin Feige of DC" to say "yeah, Ezra's gone" about five months before the film is to be released?

I’ll still end of watching it anyways despite Ezra’s actions. Can’t pass up watching Keaton’s Batman again!

No studio is going to outright say about their upcoming $300 million movie "You can skip this one, we're firing the lead actor and rebooting everything." It's certainly why the slate announcement did not include any movies featuring Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam, or Flash. If they were 100% going to continue with those actors in those roles Gunn would have confirmed so today. At best he's waiting on box office performance before making his final decision, but I'm leaning towards all the major roles being recast.

Even though a Wonder Woman-related show has been announced, they're still being really vague about whether it directly ties into Gadot's Diana. It's set before the movies and even before her birth so they can do what they like without having to address whether she's still in or not until after her cameos are out and done. I do think Miller is gone after the movie. WBD/DC is doing the corporate thing of protecting their investment (they have a lot of money and pressure riding on the Flash) while trying to look good by supporting Miller through their recovery. Gunn's comments about only addressing Miller's status later reads like him not giving an answer and passing the buck to a later time when he can say Miller is gone.

Gunn's comments about only addressing Miller's status later reads like him not giving an answer and passing the buck to a later time when he can say Miller is gone. And him adding language like "When the time is right... we’ll all figure out what the best path forward is", you can practically see them laying the groundwork for a way out for Ezra. I fully expect to hear the announcement that Ezra is "taking a break from Hollywood" as soon as it is convenient for WBD. Paradise Lost definitely sounds like a way to add minutes to the clock while they negotiate a (probably Patty-less) third film with Gal. I suspect they'll know whether or not they need to recast by the time this show reaches post-production.
