If the Chargers really wanted Mitch Trubisky, I'm sure the #6 pick could have gotten them him. BURN!

Surprisingly chalk so far. Only the Giants pick was up in the air. Esp if Simmons goes next, then we start getting to the stuff that wasn't sure.

I only saw Quinn, Geno, and Manziel. They actually showed a GOOD quarterback??? Was the first one I believe

I agree and even if they want to sit him for a year because of the injuries they can roll with Ryan Fitzpatrick for another year while they continue to build up the offensive line. They will sit him for a year, there is no point in playing him which is the consensus among everyone Fitz can start, you can probably grab Dalton on the cheap, Cam still out there. There is enough veteran options out there to have Tua sit back, learn and properly heal I imagine Fitz as starter and Rosen as the backup is acceptable for another season and Tua can learn in the film room and get fully healthy. Plus even if our line is probably going to be improved next year, since were almost certainly going to draft at least a couple of o-line guys with the 5 picks we still have in the first three rounds, it will probably still take a year to get them to an acceptable level.

The socially-distant nature of this year's NFL Draft led some to believe that this would be a largely-chalk draft and so far we're seeing that. Things can change, obviously, but most prognosticators were forecasting significantly fewer draft-day trades or out-of-nowhere picks than we've seen in years past.

How do you guys more in the know rank the top three receivers?
Based on what I’ve read Lamb and Jeudy are pretty close and interchangeable with Ruggs a little behind.

Jeudy is the better all around receiver Lamb is a good route runner that can break away Ruggs is the freak. Not as good a route runner but throw the ball up and he will go get it

Panthers coach looks like an evil teacher in American Pie or something.

Yea, that's about accurate Ruggs no doubt will come in and be a returner for sure. He has strength Ginn didn't have and Ruggs can block for a WR. If anything, he should be watching Larry Fitzgerald and try to mimic him

Some had Wirfs there. It was definitely between the two, so not surprising in any fashion. But it wasn't as set in stone as the other first 6 picks. Surprisingly chalk so far. I mean, most drafts are pretty chalk at the top. This isn't an outlier due to the pandemic. The only question was if anyone was going to jump the Fins/Chargers. But Tua was hurt and NFL is so risk-averse that it shouldn't have been surprising.

Why does goodell have official draft cards if it’s just him in his basement? Is he writing it down and sticking a post it note to his nfl post card?

The Cards will be the team to beat in the NFC West very shortly. Maybe not quite next season, but I think they’re set up to be very very good.
I think I was very wrong about the Kingbury/Murray combo.

I probably would have gone OL there but Simmons is a freak and they need speed on defense

What an off-season for Arizona. Top talent basically just fell in their lap, twice.
