The Sega CD (terrible full-motion video games). The Sega 32X (Not enough decent games for it). The Sega Game Gear (Battery hog). I traded in my original Game Boy and all my games so my parents would buy me a Game Gear one year. I eventually traded that to a friend straight up for a Game Boy again

A mini disk player. Instead of having an mp3 player that could hold 12 songs, I now had a mini disk that could also hold 12 songs
The 2000's were so wild. It seemed technology was changing drastically every 5 minutes. Now, the only major tech change we see is a slightly better camera in new phones.

I bought an Xbox 360 instead of a PS3 in 2008. It got the red ring of death within a month and then a year later I had to send it off to get repaired after the disk drive stopped working.
