Will Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel eventually be phased out in favor of HBO Max, Netflix/CBS All Access, and Disney+, respectively? Cable is rapidly becoming obsolete. As long as enough people don't cut the cord big companies can get carriage fee's for these networks and just make money running repeats at little or no cost. MTV just replaying Ridiculousness and Teen Mom marathon 24-7 will be the model other networks follow. There's also still large swaths of the country where broadband infrastructure is terrible or nonexistent. Cable and satellite services flourish there.

HBO Max's originals have new episodes every Thursday. The problem is, I don't see a label saying, "New episodes" on the icons like Netflix does. It would be nice to know when a show I want to watch has new episodes right on the home page.

Almost everyone here still uses satellite service.

DC Universe is much more useful for the comics backlog than for the shows and movies on there. Those are fun to dabble with occasionally but it's a pretty pitiful selection on the whole that tends to rotate in and out a lot.
They'd be best served cutting the price on it and making it entirely a comics on demand service.

What do you think of the service's UI?

An oddity that was pointed out to me by a friend: they have all the Superfriends series (not on Max, are they?)...EXCEPT for the core team 1978 episodes that originally aired alongside the Challenge of the Superfriends episodes.

What do you think of the service's UI? It's functional on PS4. Nothing spectacular, but it gets the job done.

Yeah, they might be better served making it like Marvel Unlimited. where You can get almost any comic Marvel put out minus a few of the most recent months.

There was already a notice on the last page to stop the Gone With the Wind discussion. Some chose not to listen.
Next one who brings it up gets suspended.

Crunchyroll is obviously there to compete against Netflix in the anime department.
Yeah, comparing their selections, I don't think Netflix is gonna lose any sleep over what HBO Max has. And I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even watch anime.

Give it six months before they start looking at a name change.

That's a good start. I never figured out why the hell there was HBO Go and HBO Now separately anyways. It's not f***ing rocket science to have a set up like if I'm using TSN Go, when you go to login you select "Direct Subscription" if you pay exclusively for TSN or "Sign in using TV provider" if you have cable/satellite.

I believe that's what is going to happen with HBO Now being molded to just HBO.
