I think the only things you'd see from a Lord and Miller Cut of Solo are unhappy actors.

With the Snyder Cut, at least there were actors in the movie actually rallying to have it released. Right now, I think only Ayer is who wants this. Frankly of the cuts of movies I'm more interested in seeing right now are Edgar Wright's Ant Man and Lord & Miller's Solo. Edgar Wright's Ant-man doesn't exist. It exists only in script form and some if not most of it made it into the finished product as Wright still has a writer's credit. he left the project before shooting started... so it's not even like Snyder who had a work print. I know that. I was just making a joke and clearly failed hard.

What’s next Trank cut of 4Tastic? No need to worry about that.

Good for Ayer that he wants to make methodical, layered and complex comic movies with psychological realistic and soulful pain. And I love many films with those traits.
But you know what the best aspect of WB’s Shazam was? I think of what Bryan Alvarez said recently as to why we became wrestling fans while talking about a Cody match: “Because it was fun. Yes, it (the Janela kiss spot with Superbad) was wacky, but who cares?” That’s how I felt watching Zachary Levi do Lighting-With-My-Hands.
And that movie still had tense moments. You can write superhero films that are emotionally riveting and also a fun ride.

I'd rather see a flat out remake of Suicide Squad done by the people behind Birds Of Prey before I'd see an Ayer Cut.

As someone who likes most of the CW DC shows, liked Shazam, and liked what I saw of Aquaman, DC being intrinsically “dark” isn’t the problem. The problem is you have directors making shitty movies for a forced “cinematic universe” cobbled together because of Marvel’s success. I understand there was apparently some crazy corporate meddling going on, but I really don’t think a “complex, layered” Suicide Squad would’ve been much better than what we got. Kinda seems destined to have been a garbage pile.
That said, a solo Deadshot movie, please. I loved Will Smith in that role.

What’s next Trank cut of 4Tastic? The Snyder Cut shitheads said they were coming for his cut next and he told them to get f***ed.

While everyone else wants their true director's vision out there, Trank just wants to bury F4 in the desert with the ET video game and move on with his life.
I'll give him credit for having a level head about it and generally coming off a lot more likeable than he was a few years ago.

Well I mean he was a shitty person on the set too... what with getting into a fist fight with the guy playing Reed... and refusing to talk to the actress playing Sue... and so on... not to mention Disney would just tell them to go f*** off. >_>

I loved End of Watch and enjoyed bright. And the Ayer cut along with a few others actually got made. Sure, why the hell not? Can’t be less cohesive a film than what we got.

It might be interesting to see if things are setup and pay off better.

*stands outside of Lucasfilm.* Release the Tico cut! You mean a cut of Rise of Skywalker where Rose has, like, 2 more scenes? Or the original Treverrow plot/vision? Or, let's face it, 25 other rough draft versions that seem to have a bit more context than the final cut cut? Nah. I'd prefer the "coherent movie that doesn't have so many Sarlacc sized plot holes every 15 seconds" cut of that one.

Tony Stark's arc from The Avengers to Endgame is basically post traumatic stress-induced self destruction, but sure, he's just a "scientist telling jokes" because he didn't brood on an undersaturated rooftop for ten minutes. Reminder that Marvel got more emotional resonance out of the death of a talking tree and Yondu Udonta than the real storytellers over at Warner were able to get out of the death of Superman.

*stands outside of Lucasfilm.* Release the Tico cut! I'd kill just so I don't have to see Hayden Christensen goofy ass half smirk at the end of Jedi. HE DIED AND REDEEMED HIMSELF AS AN OLD MAN, GEORGE. LUKE WOULDN'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHO THE F*** WAS STANDING NEXT TO OBI WAN AND YODA! Sorry, had to release some tension there.

Yeah,I mean people came out of GotG crying over the death of Groot a character I garauntee they had not heard of before the movie than I saw even having any emotional reaction to Superman's death...

Given how many times that Supes has died and been resurrected, the reaction is apathy nowadays to seeing him die.
