The fact that this is because of a stupid god damn reality TV show has me livid. How do you get your priorities so out of whack to relentless attack someone in such a cruel way over something so trivial?!

This is f***ing horrible news. Only 22-years-old. Japan and South Korea have serious issues with mental health and fandom culture.
RIP Hana.

I've started and deleted a lot of sentiments about what seems to have led to this and how awful it is. Just a tragic situation all around, and the utter hypocrisy of someone's emotional outburst making people lash out at them so hard it leads to this is horrifying. In a week with another wrestling-related tragedy, we saw in Shad a moment of humanity and goodness in him making sure his son survived at his own expense, but with Hana's death it's just a bleak view of how awful some people can be and the horrible effects that has.

This is horrible. I am so sad and so f***ing angry at the same time. How can people do this to someone? How the f*** can they even look themselves in the mirror after participating in something so vile.
RIP Hana.

God damn. I am utterly dumbfounded. 22 is way too short of a life to be taken away.

That’s absolutely terrible. Condolences to any family she has and fans of hers. Just tragic.

This is just flat out heartbreaking. It’s absolutely maddening that there are people in the world that can be so reckless and so careless with this words.

I just showed my daughter one of her matches a month ago, thinking Hana's bright colors and personality would be fun for her. I even thought Hana is the type of wrestler my daughter would be, kind of chuckling. And now because cyber-bullying, because of where this world is, a wonderful light was extinguished. There are no words.

I cannot imagine the pain her colleagues, friends, family, and especially Kyoko feel. She was such a bright to people who worked with her and fans. Personally one of my favs. This hurts =(

I'm in a group chat that her and her mom have been members of. Kyoko was so proud of her daughter, too. RIP Hana, I'm sorry that your life had to end like this

Shad's unfortunate passing
Owen's Dark Side of the Ring episode
The injuries at the recent AEW show, one that might keep Britt Baker out for months
Now this, like god it's so awful, she was 22, her life hadn't even started yet let alone her wrestling career. This just... man this sucks.
This past week for wrestling fans, amidst one of the most depressing times to be a wrestling fan as we go through the pandemic as a whole, has sucked super hard, just a lot of bad news/solemn vibes at once, which happens, but you just hate to see it.

I'm in tears. So unbelievably tragic.
So glad I got to see her perform in NYC last year as 1/6th of the first non-WWE match Madison Square Garden had in 50 years. She just lit up the entire arena as soon as she hit the ring.
She went toe to toe with Mironu Suzuki in her mother's retirement tag match back in 2017, and since then I've been endlessly impressed with her and loved watching her progress.

You add Larry Csonka's passing and this was just a terrible week for wrestling.

This honestly deserves mainstream media attention I fear it won't get. Hana wasn't just a wrestler, she was becoming a star in multiple facets of media, in the prime of her life, hell not even, and it's cut down like this, because people felt the need to go online and attack someone they don't even know because they got upset about a god damn reality show. It's downright disgusting we're at this point in culture, and there really needs to be a spotlight shown down from the heavens on it before it only gets worse.

I want to just make a point that by bullying the people that bullied Hana we'll be victimizing someone else (deserved or not) and Im not saying I saw it here, Ive seen it on twitter and such.

I want to just make a point that by bullying the people that bullied Hana we'll be victimizing someone else (deserved or not) and Im not saying I saw it here, Ive seen it on twitter and such. There just needs to be a spotlight on the consequences of ones actions. Your words MATTER, this is tangible proof of that. Sometimes it's best to find another way to vent anger you may feel at something, but going after the person responsable, while it may make you feel cathartic in the short term, is absolutely something that can be detrimental in the long term. This shouldn't have happened, but it did, and I can only hope lessons are learned here for the good of humanity going forward because it's just awful to even think it HAD to get here at all.
