Tully needs to start straightening her up like he's doing with Shawn Spears. Even though she's Tully's daughter, they are estranged. Magnum raised her. ALso from all accounts... this is a Blanchard thing... since allegedly Tully himself was also a pain in the ass to work with.

Tessa's ego has been huge for years now. Notice how over the last 2 years her indie bookings have dried up. That is cause word got out about all the stunts she has pulled for years now. She is damn good in the ring. But her attitude and other things will keep her from ever reaching the peak. At the WOW Tapings she yelled at and insulted Malia Hosaka in front of everyone and Malia was the one who had to apologize Not surprised. Ask any of the women in ROW about Tessa if you want to hear some great stories about Tessa's issues.

THe thing with Tully is allegedly he was only a asshole when he was boozed or coked up. Tessa supposedly doesn't do either.

The border shutdown doesn't prevent Tessa from coming back to the US since she's a US citizen. I can understand why she's reluctant to do so - leaving a significant other alone in another country has to be difficult - but she can be back in the States if (key word: if) she wants to come back.
If the rumors about her refusing to send in promos are true, that's just pathetic. Nearly every cell phone, tablet, and computer has a camera and mic decent enough to record a 30-second promo, even if the quality's a bit rough.
I have a feeling that if she doesn't come back in July, they'll have to question whether it's worth it to bring her back at all. I can totally see Moose fighting for the vacant Impact title replacing Tessa and winning it as a way for the company to move on.

And the thing with that is Tully was boozed/coked up pretty much 24/7 from 1975 through at least 1990. I know he got clean and turned things around, but for about 15 years...dude was an asshole.

With all the bridges Tessa has burned, the only promotion that will book her is a backyard fed run by 16-year-olds.
Of course she'll manage to piss off the kids.

When I started getting back into watching weekly wrestling in January. I was intrigued when I heard impact had a woman world champion. I became a fan of hers, but also saw all the threads of the crap she’s done behind the scenes.
I wonder she would have been champion past Rebellion. They could have easily made that match for the title, same with the tournament. It’s a crazy time in the world and no one could have predicted everything that’s happened this year, but it seemed like Impact was being really patient with her.
I think she’s done like one video interview since all of this started and that was like week one or two.
I really don’t know where she go if she leaves impact. WWE and AEW won’t touch her. ROH could take a chance on her she could be value to both the men’s and women’s divisions. Nick Aldis would probably love to have her in the NWA with her roots and being a world champion, I can already hear the package video. MLW might be the best fit as they have a decent record with pain in the ass talent and there’s no woman’s division so it makes since for her to only fight the men.

Tessa really seems to just be a problem no matter what. Some wrestlers can be problems if they're not being pushed to the top, some can be problems if they feel they aren't being used the way they want. Tessa seems to be a problem if she doesn't get her way and she seems to be a problem if she does get her way. She may just stay on her best behavior for a little longer if you give in to her and that's really not a recipe for a healthy company. Impact has done right by her and her stock was really rising. I remember there being talk about the potential bidding war that could have happened between Impact, AEW, and WWE for her services. All the stories you'd hear about her died down and it genuinely seemed like she had matured and was on her way to living up to those expectations. So for her to be acting like this especially when filming a promo takes no time at all to do. If she has time to do Leeloo cosplay on her instagram, she has time to film a promo and send it in.

IF this is true: - That's pretty shitty of her that after they made her the first woman to be World Heavyweight Champion, she won't even defend the title. That's straight out of the Shawn Michaels playbook of being a dick with a championship. EDIT: And if Russo is back? 2020 really is the worst damn year. Look I can handle wildfires, Corona, and riots/protesting but damnnit Russo is the last straw. Also I imagine none of the wrestling journalists can get confirmation due to D'Amore and Callis actually being smart enough with their e-mail.

She started it, thats not defending Tessa.

Yeah, I'm going to say this is Impact's fault. They knew her reputation, they knew the bad press around her, yet they trusted her in that position.
Not that that forgives Tessa in her own right but they should've known better.

I'm shocked and stunned that the daughter of Tully Blanchard(who by all accounts is a nice guy to be around now) is a pain in the ass. I mean when it's one place you burn a bridge, you can say that maybe there is two sides to the story but at this stage Tessa is the common denominator here. She's unbelievably talented in the ring which isn't surpirising given who her dad is, but to allegedly not even bother to send in a short promo that's ridiculous. Maybe if she stopped doing fifth element cosplay she might have time to do what is the bare mimumum.

The Ravel Morrison of Women's Wrestling. At least we’ve heard a lot less from him and he seems to (for now) put his head down and got on with stuff. Tessa, though...yeesh. But yeah, if true, this is Impact’s fault for most of it. The wrestling business is small, you can’t ignore the stories of her reputation yet the title went on her so...

I told one of my mates about this and he made an interesting point, he basically said that he thought Tessa was a numpty, but he also said that "In fairness to her, how is she going to know when she returns, which could make it hard to cut a promo if you don't know when you'll be back?"

The only way I can see Russo coming back is if he's advising/managing Moose on camera, trying to heap too much praise on the TNA Champion (and the TNA brand) - and, most importantly, if Russo has absolutely no role in creative, bro.

She has been announced for the Slammiversary ppv. I assume they asked her to do a promo for that, it was strange they just announced their main event without the champ promoting it. There could of course be more behind the story though.
