And he put himself on the poster. So if he was trying to hide his involvement, he couldn’t even do that right. Think how much worse it could’ve been if he tried to hide it and come out as a surprise on the actual show? I’d imagine a lot of boos. And some lawsuits.

The response from everybody basically being what did you expect to happen? I've also seen some say that Joey is gonna try to use this in his lawsuits showing that people are costing him from making money and he never actually expected the show to go on

Like, him even being in the lockerroom would likely cause a mass walkout of some kind so it'd be only him and whoever else was dumb enough to stay.

It gets better ; when they were hiring for the show they said it was a "Joey" Show and heavily implying it was Janela.

I love how they're blaming everyone else for making a big deal about it.

What's that? Someone who is known for abusing the trust of others tried to abuse the trust of dozens if not hundreds of people? But Joey, ya said ya changed, man! We all believed you, right??? Right? ?? This guy is a sack of shit. Seeing the industry blackballing him is warming my heart. I know there will still be promoters out there who'll book him, but it's nice to see the ranks closing around everybody except the sack of shit this time. The CMO of Fire had to go on Twitter just now to say they’re not streaming the event. I'm impressed they did that. But I'm guessing AEW are a partner they don't want to piss off. They, uh, might also just be good human beings too, but I expect the worst in everyone!

Of cours Joey will take the hint... Ah who are we kidding? He'll sue AEW, Khan, Swole and probably re-file charges against his accusers.

The twitter account for the "company" running the event no longer exists.

You finish up work for the day, see a Joey Ryan thread has been bumped, expect the worst, and somehow it manages to exceed your wildest expectations.

Well if Joey Ryan wanted to know how toxic he was to the wrestling world, it took two hours for a wrestling event and "company" to be completely wiped off the face of the earth for putting him on a event poster.
Get f***ed dude.

It's wild how they even promoted it to the guys as a Joey show because all of the AEW guys would think that it's a Janela show.

On a 1 to Fritz Von Erich, how carny was this scheme? That poster of a British Indy show from the early 00s that was just a bunch of nobodies playing Attitude Era people

And Joey has now deleted all of his tweets.
I'd say nothing of value was lost, but that seems like the kind of thing a really guilty person would do to cover their damning evidence..

I've also seen some say that Joey is gonna try to use this in his lawsuits showing that people are costing him from making money and he never actually expected the show to go on As others have written elsewhere, he's also going to use this not only in his own mind but in public defense to claim that the people he sees responsible for the canceling of the show are "taking money out of the pockets of a charity" and, in his own demented state of mind, consider himself the white knight that was trying to raise money for said "charity"(quotations because my opinion on the matter of the actual charity will obliterate the rules of the board.) A very good tweet pointed out that this was likely all calculated, including putting his image on the poster, to get to this point for all of these reasons.

Quality entertainment.
It was actually pretty clever of Ryan to put himself on the poster as one of the smaller images. Prob'ly hoped that the eye would be drawn to the bigger images and he'd be able to sneak by. He's forgotten that the internet has gotten quite adept over the years at playing Where's Asshole while looking at event posters.
