I could have sworn that The Rock had a bull logo belt like Austin's smoking skull. Hell, in my head, I remember him wearing it.
But of course, it never happened.

Hogan was the first man to body slam Andre The Giant... Also, the inflated total for WrestleMania 3âs attendance Those are things that were actually said so no Mandela effect there.

HHH got buried due to the curtain call/his push was delayed but he still won the IC title a few months later.
WM7 being moved due to poor ticket sales/bomb scare.

The DX Tank has to be the most overpushed revisionist history WWE peddles to its fans
When it happened DX was a middle card act and it was just a comedy segment. Nobody really even gave a shit, but they herald it as "A TURNING POINT IN THE MONDAY NIGHT WARS" and it' ridiculous, lol.

Also, the fact that it was the first in a series of segments that have mostly been forgotten, but the "tank" happened to air on the episode of Raw that broke the Nitro streak, which was actually the result of an Austin vs. McMahon match that led to Dude Love's heel turn.

Not a WWE moment, but there's people who swore Brian Pillman pulled out his junk during that promo in ECW where he threatened to piss on the ring. "IF THERE'S ONE THING I'M GONNA DO, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW, I'M GONNA YANK OUT MY JOHNSON, AND PISS THIS HELL OFF!!!" And then he expertly turned his back to the camera, fiddled with his belt a little, and Styles panicked and bingo, memories made forever.

I doubt WWE will be in any hurry to bring up the DX segment where they âblow upâ the CNN building with a cheap CG explosion.

The Rockers never won the tag belts.
Edge's last match before retiring was against Del Rio at Wrestlemania.

Seems some people think Shawn sent Marty through the Barber Shop window via a superkick, rather than throwing him through it. This is probably conflating the superkick that signified the break-up and Shawn throwing him through the window which happened after the superkick.

What's supposed to be the difference between "Mandela effect" and just straight up misremembering something?

What's supposed to be the difference between "Mandela effect" and just straight up misremembering something? It's supposed to be a shared misremembering by many. I think it's kind of an overplayed idea at this point.

The Rockers never won the tag belts. Edge's last match before retiring was against Del Rio at Wrestlemania. They did at a TV taping, but the match never aired and they pretended it never happened.

Not necessarily a WWE one, but I think a big one in wrestling history is the fact that Hogan called it the âNew World Organizationâ of professional wrestling in the initial promo at Bash at the Beach 1996.

Stevie Richards really didn't do all that stuff pre-2007 ;-)
Didn't some people misremember Jimmy Snuka as an ex-IC champ?
"The Dragon" was treated as a rookie in 1991. No, they still referred to him as Steamboat (though the exception, not the rule) and there were references here and there to his first run, but you do you, R.D.
