The match would be amazing, but both women are crap babyfaces and shine as asshole heels. The match is still doable Charlotte is better as a tweener/heel while Tessa real life credibility is shot and she must be a heel. Heel vs Heel feuds can work and you just let the crowd pick the default face in the match for pacing purposes which would probably be Charlotte Honestly, even before Tessa was outed as a legit racist and a horrible dickhead, she was a much better heel, anyway, I remember a time where she was just kicking the shit out of referees and stage hands backstage as Knockouts Champion. If Tessa were to go to WWE, I'd love to see her have an almost Loose Cannon esque gimmick; hell, put her against Io and have a battle of two very talented women who're both a few fries short of a happy meal.

I'm of two minds on it. Yeah, she's an ingrate, for sure, but it's not like it was altruism on Impact's part. They wanted to get attention on the company, and pushing her in a high profile did just that, it just, uhh, went south, bad. Honestly, I don't even think Impact got that much hype out of it. They put their men's title on a woman, but no one really cared, and no one outside of Impact talked about it, and the reason no one in the business got excited over it is because Tessa and her ego was the one that did it. And that's probably the saddest part about all of this. From the moment the allegations of bullying came out, it overshadowed anything she did as champion, for her and Impact. Any publicity they might have gotten for being the first major US company to put the world championship on a woman was gone before she even won the thing. Even now, the biggest thing she's done as champion since winning the championship is getting fired with it. And here's the thing: you can't unring that bell. No matter what happens, Tessa Blanchard is the first woman to hold the Impact World Heavyweight Championship, and she always will be. It's like killing Superman, you only really get one shot to do it right, and they blew it. Honestly, both Tessa and Impact deserve to hold the L here.

Like it’s been said already in the here, they are known to give known headcases and troublemakers at least ONE shot eventually (Aries and Low Ki for example), so it wouldn’t surprise me. They see $$$$$$ in Tessa/Charlotte, I'm sure. If anything, they would bring her in just for that and see how she handles having to put Charlotte over.

I'd be interested in this, just to see the train wreck of her ego meeting the WWE locker room, and Vince's. She’d be a good girl and everyone will love her again

They couldn't back out of it either because hyping your first intergender world championship match and then having her job the hell out like any other match in that situation would call for is a bad look.

Not making another thread for this; but apparently Tessa wanted, no joke, $150,000 to return the Impact World Title! I get that her father was an asshole, too, but I don't think even Tully at the height of his bell-end days would've asked for that amount of money for a title! Has Tessa just had a mental breakdown in lockdown because she'd have to be off her rocker to think that Impact would give her anything close to that (hell, she's crazy for being so damn unprofessional after Impact booked her like a superstar from the day she walked into the company!) Is there a source for this?

Is there a source for this? Does Whatculture count? It does not as they just report things they see online

It does not as they just report things they see online If I'm honest, that's where I found it, too, I deleted my original post because, for the life of me, I couldn't find any trusted source that has talked about it, if there's a reputable site that mentions it, I'll bring it up. Honestly, I can see Tessa being that much of a greedy brat.

And while the guy doesn't exactly seem to be full of shit and certainly seems clued up (as you might expect) on 'belt news', I'm not sure if we'd consider him a credible source for this one, I dunno. Probably a case of wait and see before we wade in on this one I guess.

How an earth I saw this thread just now, I think I've even been watching Impact's during all this. What's the summary? I'll try to read this thread later in the small hours when I have time...

Obviously I don't know for a fact that Tessa is trying to hold up Impact for money over the belt, but the fact that I could see her doing that is pretty telling in and of itself.

All started with Tessa being asked to send in promos since she was quarantined she never did then it all went down hill with her holding up Impact for money to show up for Slammiversary (allegedly) so Impact fir3d her

For an extra layer of irony (and LOLTNA value), someone on Reddit pointed out that TNA/Impact was in part funded by money Jeff Jarrett earned by holding WWE up for their Intercontinental Championship. So there's certainly precedent for this sort of thing. Is there a source for this? Not WhatCulture, but Cultaholic's source for this is "Belt Fan Dan" making the claim on Twitter. Aren't those belts companies valuables. ' could not they just call the cops on these belt marks. Tessa asking for 150,000 for a f***ing belt sounds like some kidnapping ransom.
