I'm going to call bull on the belt being held hostage because the moment Tessa does that Anthem would slap Tessa with a lawsuit right away Tessa's Lawyer i.gifer.com/JkmV.gifI counter this argument by pointing out that RD Evans is currently employed by Impact and after his defense of Archibald Peck on Chikara I find it hard to believe any lawyer Tessa has can beat him

If this is true, then Tessa really is just going scorched earth at this point. I don't see how anyone even touches her as a wrestler when all she does is... well this shit. The female Teddy Hart, with a legacy name to match.

My god, Tessa really is going the route of Teddy Hart, an extremely talented wrestler who just keeps proving herself to be a colossal wanker! Only her breakdown seems to be going at a faster pace! Tessa at least hasn't been suspected to be involved in some really shady shit like Teddy Hart has... yet.

We're really believing "Belt Fan Dan" here on this one, and no other source? When it comes to belt and championships, the guys legitimately know his stuff. He has a good track history when it come to this stuff.

Controversy creates cash is still important to them.

Why weren't impact doing what WWE were/still doing which was to have a TV belt that is keep by the crew and the wrestler(s) have a lesser belt with them every other time.

I've said it here before and I'll say it again, all this stuff Tessa is doing reminds me of what Killer Kross did last year to Impact to get out of his contract because he knew he could get signed by WWE. Of course this new twist involving the belt is some exclusive Tessa b.s. I said it last year about Kross and I will say it again now, I think this is crap. What good are contracts if the athlete doesn't have to honor it? This goes for every sport these days not just wrestling.

I've always wondered the same thing. WWE won't let you take the belts home and they see their talent 4-5 times a week, pre-Covid obviously. Companies like Impact see their wrestlers once every couple of months. There's no way I would let anyone take home my championship belts. Anything can happen between now and then. This situation with Tessa being a perfect example.

When talking about skills and possibility of becoming a huge star, Tessa's right there on the top. Wish she was not such an bandit so I could most of the time enjoy her work in public.

As said, I don’t understand why they don’t do it the WWE way and have a belt just for TV they keep and a replica for personal appearances that they give to the talent.
It would be less of a headache

Tessa has talent to burn and could be an all time great when it's all said and done, but her attitude issues which early on you could put down to being young and inexperienced can't now excused for those reasons. I knows she's 24 but she's been wrestling for six years give or take and she's been a champion in several places and been the impact heavyweight champ. Companies have put their faith in her for her undeniable talent but she's not dealing with 1990's vince Mahon who will put up with his top guy being a pain in the ass.

Can some crime expert at FAN tell me if it is possible to steal bunch of money and just chill in Mexico, I thought that was a movie cliche. Mexican police aren't going to deal with you unless you actually cause them a problem, and the extradition treaty is also apparently borderline useless. Though, the stereotype of a run to ther border does come from media before about 2001 when the actual treaty they have came into force.

This whole story is great but I really love the idea that Tessa is important enough to have "people" to speak on her behalf.

Wait tessa has people ? Okay maybe in future don’t use that phrase as you’ve enough bad perceptions. So the impact title may not suffer a Stan Hansen then ?

See, I can imagine that she wanted $150 to cover shipping, and somehow it got turned into $150.000 after a game of Chinese whispers.

Ah, so it turns out Belt Guy is not very reliable when it comes to non-belt specific details on other news stories. Gotcha. Gonna have to disagree. The fact she uses "didn't know where to send it to" seems, to me at least, a lazy excuse to cover for her wanting the money. I mean not knowing where to send it? A simple phone call to Impact offices would solve that in 5 minutes
