{Spoiler}So the Voyager-A is a Lamar-class ship that has 29 decks and a crew complement of 800. MUCH bigger than the original Voyager, which had 15 decks and a crew of about 150.
Also interesting that this is happening concurrently with the evacuation of Romulus.

{Spoiler}Dunno why, but seeing The Doctor with the inverted color pattern of the Voyager/early DS9 uniforms is something weird to get used to for me.

Apparently at the convention they did say they're 99% sure they've found a new home so there is that. Still royally sucks how Paramount screwed the show over.

It gets worse when you see the awards it either won or got nominated for. For a show that basically doesn’t exist outside of DVD right now. Same with the Grease prequel too, award nominated, will only exist on DVD.

I finally got a chance to watch this after seeing several people in here mention how great it is. I gotta say I really enjoyed it. It managed to feel Star Trek despite doing something quite different.That said, the stuff with Solom I had to kind of accept was partly due to it being a children's show as I could think of several options better than the ones they chose (the Solomites that is).
{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} It seemed odd to me that they would attempt to destroy the Federation rather than go back in time and basically warn them not to make first contact. Although, after all that civil war they probably didn't trust the Federation. Still seems extreme, especially since it's likely inevitable that some spacefaring race encounters them. {Spoiler}
{Spoiler} Also, there were a couple times the Solom characters made reference to being superior. To me it seems they view all other races as inferior. I'm not sure if this is due to their isolation or something else. {Spoiler}
{Spoiler} It also seemed odd that they ended up in civil war over whether to go to the stars or stay on their own planet. Why not let those who want to explore do so and the ones who wanted to stay do so. That said, we've seen little of their society so it's possible that this was impossible because of how their society worked. I would hope that if season 2 ever finds a home, we learn a bit more about them. My concern is that this is something of a time loop where Gwyn finding their world is what set the original events in motion, especially with other Solom operatives likely working to sabotage it.

Glad to see it get new life. I do wonder if this bodes any possibility for something beyond a season 2, but the fact that they found a home for season 2 is great in the long run.

Well, guess that'll be when I sign back up for a month of Netflix then and get caught up on assorted other things while at it. Great to see the show land somewhere.

People online are now begging Netflix to save iCarly as well, given Paramount+ ended it on a massive cliffhanger.

If it's debuting on Christmas Day, there's not a zero percent chance Season 2 will debut by about February/March next year considering the work that's already finished with it.

Did pick up some mention of some not-especially-spoilery-but-kinda things in this season, if anyone wants a hint about some of what's coming with no details. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The Mirror Universe, Tribbles, and Wesley turn up, as well as a new character named Maj'El as kind of a cute nod.
