Someone should tag Kenny and TK. Yes, yes, and yes. Honest to goodness - I can't come up with a satisfactory reason that they haven't signed LuFisto. They've got a women's division starved for talent and name value, and they've made seemingly no attempt to court an indy veteran with a solid following who is also quite good in the ring. And like...they hired Luther with the intention of putting him in a women's division angle. Jericho favor or not, the fact that they'd hire him before her for that purpose is bonkers. There's no way AEW has a women age bias either, not that you were saying they did. Ivelisse is 33, Mel is 34, Rosa is 34, and Deeb is 34. They also showcased Mercedez Martinez. Nyla Rosa is also 38, which shocks the ever loving hell out of me.

The thing is that Jade screams nepotism for being Brandis project(really why most of her projects are bad aside from Velvet? Its like Hogan and his cronies), besides there is the chance Jade becomes Eva Marie 2.0 Why not use that mic time Jade got to TayJay at least give them a backstage segment like Raw gave it to Nikki and Alexa for example? Can we not say things that aren't true? Because this straight up isn't true. Jade's been training to become a wrestler and wanting to be one for awhile now and has a career outside of it. If she feuds with Brandi can we not call it a "Brandi Project" and "Nepotism"? Like it or not Brandi's one of the top women names in AEW, it's why she's been feuding with Anna Jay to help her get more screentime, and the same would be said for Jade.

Wait what. confirms this information ...huh, I could have sworn she was in her early 20's, clearly I misremembered something or didn't do my research. But yeah, I don't really think that's what's stopping them from bringing in LuFisto. If I had to make a guess, it's that Omega or Khan or Bates or Daniels just...doesn't like her or her work, or thought that she was too much of a risk after her two retirement scares in the 10's. But even in the latter case, she seems like a prime candidate for the wrestler-to-agent pipeline like Bates, Luther, Daniels, and Dustin.

Well Jade's officially signed to the roster and looks to be joining the women's division so there's that.

Her screen time couldve been given to Shida, Sicarias, TayJay.

They're betting on her, but it's not like the segment would have worked with someone else in the context it was in.

Sasha vs. Bayley from last weeks Smackdown did 2.5 million views Yes, but Sasha and Bayley have been a big deal for like 6 years now. They need to build their women's division up to that level, they can, and this shows people will watch when you do. But AEW absolutely can with the talent they're cultivating, but they clearly need a direction they have not seemed to find yet.

Didn't LuFisto retire? I thought she had to retire due to health issues? She's had two retirements, but was active as of 2019. The retirements making the bookers skittish is one of the few reasons I can come up with for her not getting a contract...but even then, she's such a strong candidate for the pipeline to a trainer job that that seems insufficient.

Shida Serena Nyla Britt Anna Jay Tay Conti Red Velvet Brandi Big Swole Cargill Diamante & Ivelisse Leva Penelope Ford Statlander (injured)
Sign Rosa and get Shanna back and that is a really great womens roster that you can easily build up and have multiple feuds taking place concurrently. If they even were able to get it to 50% of the quality of the way NXT's female division is booked/run, they'd be doing great.
The key is to have multiple womens segments dotted about Dynamite- not just one segment devoted to them each week. It comes off as something they are forced to do for inclusivity's sake and it shows. Show us that the women are part of this (for want of a better word) 'AEW universe' and not just some side thing that is going on exclusively outside of everything else. Whenever they've integrated the women into the rest of the show (Anna Jay with Dark Order, Britt showing up at the Town Hall segment), it's been great!

I think we're starting to get there with the Women's Division in terms of talent but the list below puts it into perspective a lot at just how much they've had to rebuild the Division over the past 9 months. In all honesty it's reasonably impressive that they've managed to keep it going as well as they have done all things considered.
I'd be quite happy for them to spend the rest of 2020 establishing the new signings with segments and spots as they have been the past month or so and then start afresh in 2021 with a far more healthy Division to work with.
Hikaru Shida Serena Deeb - Just Signed Nyla Rose Britt Baker - Just Returned Anna Jay - Just Signed Tay Conti - Just Signed Red Velvet - Just Signed Brandi Rhodes Big Swole Jade Cargill - Just Signed Diamante - Just Signed Ivelisse - Just Signed Leva Bates - Just Returned (In-Ring) Penelope Ford Kris Stadtlander - Injured

Ellering and Savoy are also still solid options if they ever wanted to. Not counting the Joshi of course, there are even more girls than that honestly they could use already on the show Abadon was gonna get a Conti match and a freak injury stopped it, I hope she's back soon Then you have Leyla Hirsch who everyone wants them to sign, and they may very well have it's rumored. Then you have the Young Lionesses that seem to be signed but are developing: Skyler Moore, Kenzie Paige, Dani Jordyn, KiLyn King Then you have some of these new girls we've seen like Jennacide, Dreamgirl Ellie, Savannah Evans, who also seem a bit green but look like they could be good prospects, Jennacide and Savannah have amazing size to them but Jennacide has an incredibly great look, no surprise, she's from the same company as, and teamed with Abadon (Along with Heidi Howitzer who I'd also love to see get a look for the same reasons). AEW's scouting for women lately has been pretty damn good. They clearly want to build a roster of girls, especially they have a bulk of talent for the future, and showcase a ton of girls to potentially sign on DARK or for them to hone their craft for the future, it's as you said the matter of integrating them into the show. They definitely gave Cargill a huge spotlight, I hope she pays off, that might be the jumpstart the division needs if so, I'll take anything.

One thing they really need to start doing (and this goes along with the "Dark Isn't Enough" thing) is start actually doing some Storyline advancement for the division on Dark. Yes, they still need to do better with Dynamite, but Dark will start to feel more important if they actually let some angles develop and play out within the division there. I know they might be waiting for crowds to come back on that front, but the way Dark is right now, it seems like they have all the time in the world, so why not take a stab at it?

The thing is that Jade screams nepotism for being Brandis project(really why most of her projects are bad aside from Velvet? Its like Hogan and his cronies), besides there is the chance Jade becomes Eva Marie 2.0 Why not use that mic time Jade got to TayJay at least give them a backstage segment like Raw gave it to Nikki and Alexa for example? I wouldn't say that It is more damning tho that it seems they have no belief in their women they can't get over without a mans intervention into their program
