I don't know shit about Joshi but it generally doesn't matter if they catch my eye and are talented which majority of them are
The division has taken a step back the last month and the continued quest to get them more time and better storylines is still an ongoing quest. They are better then what they were and the talent is there, use it

Did they need to powerbomb Baker through the table? Nyla already got her heat back after the match with one powerbomb. Leave something in the can for later. The thought was it was gonna be Rebel going through the table while Britt watched in horror. But that spot set sail when Rebel's kneecap dislocated That makes more sense but you could also just not do the spot, I guess they already got the table out and no one else is going to come to Brit's aid so bit of rock and a hard place but again was it even needed in the first place? Too many OTT spots in in every wrestling show nowadays, now excuse me while I go yell at some clouds. |

That’s an interesting read and interview, Riho is pretty tight lipped usually but opens up to Thai media it seems. I don’t get the impression she wants to be a wrestler long term, but Shida was similar before AEW. I’m just always floored that people can be so talented at something and have the confidence to think about doing anything else lol. An ability I wish I had.

It would be a big step for the division if the women's match wasn't the one every week that goes into picture-in-picture, and then gets the full commercial.

It would be a big step for the division if the women's match wasn't the one every week that goes into picture-in-picture, and then gets the full commercial. TNT has a lot of progressing to do with women's wrestling themselves in that regard, since I think that might be on their end. I haven't found out if the sudden full commercial change happens outside of the U.S. so far. |

It could be that she just wants to have a family, as many joshi retire to do, or since she's been doing it so long, maybe she just needs to think about those kinds of things earlier than most. But like you say, sometimes minds get changed, like Hikaru getting more determined with her own career, or Ryo considering retirement before AEW came into the picture and reinvigorated her. |

Same corporate family and executives on top as TNT, TBS, and TruTV are all managed under one structure. So if TNT's the one calling the shots on the women's division's shortcomings, it won't change with changing channels.
Guess we'll see if anything changes with Rampage offering more TV time.

Shida vs. Jordyn on Elevation was good. Wish that could have been on Dynamite. At the same time those are the perfect matches for Elevation and DARK. Shida puts on bangers with the undercard/enhancement talent I hope we see Dani Jordyn more with touring set to begin |
