If what we are creating is an expanded universe for the women's division, then we are about to see something truly electric. I bought an AEW Fite subscription so I could watch this show before Sunday, and I got rewarded with the best episode of Dynamite I've yet seen and the indication that the women's division is getting opened up for a cross-promotion feud. I mean, she should be but let’s not get into the fiend territory where baby faces look like dorks being scared all the time It makes perfect sense. Nyla is a great big f***er that she can fight. You can cut down a giant. She doesn't know what Abadon is. Also, Japan has its own whole load of different superstitions to what we have. AEW actually generally pays off the 'wait and see' attitude so let's give it a chance. |

Deepest condolences for the one who to be fed to Abadon next week. My guess is Tesha Price, since she seems to be the new "jobber with no credibility that we trust to look good" now that KiLynn King and Red Velvet have been bumped up to winners. Plus, Abadon's already squashed Dani Jordyn and Skyler Moore. |

So is basically anything doing with the woman’s division belong in this thread? Is this the most self serving thread of all time? We want AEW to do better with their women’s division but also only will have on topic about the women on the board.

Anything good that happens in the division is relevant to the thread, and is usually tied into the pre-existing arguments that are already here. Separate threads get started here and there...but the relevance of the women's wrestling to the promotion as a whole is so low that it's useful to discuss even the good things in the context of the ongoing issues. |

I have no issues with Shida being scared of Abadon because I'm scared of Abadon and she hasn't threatened me. As long as it's psychological warfare instead of horror movie screaming, I think it's fine. Getting in someone's head is an old tactic.

ya, the womans division is such an after thought for AEW, half the time I forgot who's the champion. Maybe in 2021, once the full roster is all 100% healthy and maybe this covid crap has cooled down ( which i doubt)- they can focus on it

So, yes, it’s a self serving thread. This thread exists because AEW hadn't been giving the women enough segments up until the last three weeks. Dynamite also still just books one women's match per show. At least it was in the first hour for once, but that could have been due to the Omega/Moxley title match needing extra time. Things have been slightly better recently, though more has to be done by AEW for us to get discussion going with the women outside of this thread. |
