She mentioned on her Unrestricted podcast that she still does a ton of coaching in AEW and sees that as her endgame in the long term.

For anyone who watched the Nightmare Factory student showcase, she stood out immediately. She's super crisp in ring for only just starting. She could be a huge gem for AEW if she continues improving.

Haven't found anything so far, but even though she's likely going to WWE with Morrison being there and the depth of NXT's Women's division, I think AEW could use her more, since WWE already gained three women recently.

There will have to be some women moved to Raw and Smackdown, because Santana Garrett and Brandi Lauren/Skyler Storey have been off NXT TV for a while now with nothing to do.

Unsurprised if AEW just happens to decide that maybe Madi is less of a worthwhile prospect than, I dunno. Jenna Lynn, Miranda Gordy, Billie Starkz, Hot Scoop Skylar, Sierra, Basic Becca, Raychell Rose, Skye Blue, or the Insidious One. She's very replaceable.

On the other hand, I could see them sweep it under the rug like they did with Shanna if she gives enough lip service to wisening up.

Essentially, someone compared her and Bianca because of their hair (I presume insinuating that she was stealing her look? I couldn't entirely figure out the intent but it didn't seem positive). She then responded by saying "except mine is real" and to me, that is problematic for the reasons Swole articulated. It doesn't come across as her saying "well actually we are different in this one way" it comes across more as "well my hair is actually real unlike hers" in a way that demeans her hair. I am sure others could explain it better than I am but I think Madi would have been better off just apologizing immediately and taking it as a learning moment. We'll see what she says next but I could see AEW not bringing her back, especially since she clearly has done something stupid and now involved an active member of the roster. From a locker room standpoint, it may be for the best.

The "Yeah but mine's real" comment has a lot of anti-Black racist baggage attached to it even if it wasn't Madi's intention.

I feel bad because I don't know if it's what Madi meant, but she probably lost her shot in AEW. I actually liked her match a lot. Reminds of that guy who was the competitive eater, who put down Janella, and then never got another shot again. If you're a jobber, try not to piss off signed talent in a place giving you a chance. I would have deleted it and sent Biance and Swole apologies, even if you think you're in the right.

Just because Morrison is in WWE doesn't mean Taya is going there. There are people in AEW married to people in WWE. And if Taya has been watching her husbands career since he returned to WWE, she shouldn't have any faith in them actually doing anything with her.

The Madi thing could be served as a learning experience if she truly didn't know the connotations she was throwing out there. She could have just thought she was being a heel on socials and not even thinking about it. I would hope she doesn't lose her shot over one bad lapse of judgement, especially when Shanna is still there and they've given her a pretty big second chance.

Madi's been one of the best workers they've brought in lately from this trainee class, but this is also why you really gotta be mindful of the shit you post on socials. Now she's gonna be nuclear for awhile because she stepped in it and didn't have the best response.

Her best course of action is apologizing to both Bianca and Swole and learning from it, whether or not that saves her AEW spot or not that should be priority number one.

Yeah, hair is a very charged subject. I don't know whether or not that this would be the end of her getting an opportunity, this seems way less intentional than that one guy whose match got cut for being homophobic as hell on his twitter, but it isn't a good look.

Hopefully she's really listening to Swole, either way, since I want Madi to learn.
