By the way, has any wrestling company done this before? Released the whole roster while still technically continue to exist? Probably not an entire roster, though there have been ones where almost everyone was fired or quit, like the formation of NOAH, where almost everyone bailed on AJPW. They had 26 people under contract and 24 of them left to form NOAH.

Seems that the issue was Sinclair and not ROH itself, the moment Sinclair shuts down, its game over.

So AEW will absolute put out the feelers for Gresham, Lethal, Rush & Bandido. You'd imagine that Black will put in a word for Brodie King and I'd be all for AEW signing Adam Brooks as their first Australian talent. It'll be interesting with Danhausen as he's a fun gimmick but I feel that signing him to a larger stage would potentially expose him. Danhausen should be fine imo. Orange Cassidy was and is... don't see why Danhausen wouldn't be. I think him having easy corporate synergy with Conan would even help matters since Conan is still going to produce content for Warner and Max. I feel like after the Cruise too it would be a matter of when and not if Absolutely yes to the others mentioned too. AEW should also give a hard look at Shane Taylor Productions and Incoherence and really decide to launch the Trios titles.

Guarantee WWE is going to make a play for at least some of the roster but I think it's going to be VERY selective.
As far as ROH themselves this is one heck of a blow for wrestling stateside outside of the Big Two.

Sinclair bet everything they had on being able to have a streaming platform to watch sports and gamble at the same time, but the sports leagues don't want to work with them on either the streaming or gambling rights so now they have an empire of 3rd rate cable networks that are priced like 1st tier.

Because that's what WWE does.

I think they only retained a handful of stars while everyone else was allowed to walk. I had to do some digging but this is my post when Powerrr was teasing to return. It’s a name, a logo, a small video library, a collection of belts, and some left over contracts. Going by Powerr / Shockwave the every male currently on the “roster” is also a champion. Aldis is World, Murdoch is NA, Pope is TV, Stevens is half of the tag team. Seeing how Drake just showed up in NXT and Storm had come back to drop the tag belts. Who knows if these talents are even still under contract. Also far as I can tell Rosa and Kamille were the last two women still under contract. It would be great if Powerrr could come back but that sounds like a fever dream at this point. Who knows what will happen. RIP Question Mark. I completely forgot Bram… NWA has been milking that Chase taping for like two and a half months now. They just had a super show last week theyre turning into two or three episodes of powerrr. It’s crazy ROH is the one that could be going under. I hope there’s enough fan support over the next two months and at final battle they keep ROH some what close to what made it great.

I mean, that company basically existed an entire first year without any sort of actual roster so doing it on the other end seems appropriate.

It just shows how f***in' quickly the house of cards can collapse. I mean, Ring Of Honor had clearly seen better days, but there was no indication they were literally on death's door.

Impact outliving ROH is certainly something I didn't expect to see.

I always thought TNA/Impact would go under first. I never would have believed this could happen even four years ago much less back in 2010 or before, RIP ROH

Honestly, I kinda feel like TNA DID die off first. It's a Theseus' ship situation, and practically every board and nail's been pulled up and pulled out. Significantly more connected "WWECW" to ECW than Impact is TNA, really.
Outside of that, Sinclair's situation kind of sounds like what happened to Crockett Productions. Jim Crockett bought up a bunch of TV rights and the syndication deals weren't nearly as lucrative as hoped.
