Hey, I know we’re probably going to get our asses kicked but I wanted to at least try and have a bit of “rivalry” stuff here. Well, you did beat us in the Community Shield and before that you beat Chelsea in the F.A. Cup so I'd say Arsenal are showing signs of potential improvement if nothing else and games against Arsenal are USUALLY tough (there's always exceptions of course). So I wouldn't say we'll ''kick your asses'' though I am of course obligated to say KILL THEM LIVERPOOL! KILL THEM DEAAADDDDDDDD! but I say that no matter what team we face lol. Though I'm a lot worse when we play Man Utd as you can imagine. Anyway, let the best team win (i.e. Liverpool ) is what I'll leave this post on Oh, we’ll probably do better than usual because we seem to be a side that doesn’t collapse at a gust of wind, which is actually nice for a change, but I’m not foolish enough to think we can do better than a draw to a Liverpool side like that. If I’m wrong, well, I’ll be happy.

Well, don't forget you did also beat us 2-1 last season so I wouldn't rule out Arsenal doing it again completely though of course I'm obviously hoping it'll be more like the 3-1 win Liverpool had at Anfield last season. We'll find out on Monday night what happens at least

Brighton are my second team too as this is my home for nearly 20 years. I'm an Arsenal fan first and foremost but following Brighton as well was much easier when they were in the equivalent of League 2 (4th tier) of English football playing in a disused athletics stadium. The last few years have been very conflicting for me, especially with Brighton beating Arsenal deservedly a few times recently.

Maupay with an outrageous Paneka has been cancelled out by a scrappy own goal. 1-1 currently but I still think Brighton will get something.

Man Utd win 3-2. What a finish to the game. Feel gutted for Brighton they deserved something but their finishing needs to improve.
United with a Sir Alex jammy finish there.

Frank Lampard being portrayed as a genius for pulling back to 3-3 despite b eing the idiot that had them 3-0 down in the first place by throwing on a guy with clearly less skill than he was made out to have.
Also, why would you make a guy your captain when he doesn't speak English?

Man Utd win in the 100th minute, Chelsea come back from 3 nil down with 2 mins left.
What an awful day for football. At least the Arsenal women’s team beat Spurs 4 nil that’s something.

Anyone that tipped Man Utd & Chelsea to challenge the top two looking silly now.

Another dreadful VAR decision in the Spurs Newcastle game as Newcastle score a penalty in injury time.
I don’t like Spurs so I’m happy they didn’t win but the VAR decision was stupid. No common sense being shown by refs and I don’t think they are being allowed to.

Who'da thunk that starting with no recognised strikers and a centre-half pairing of Ake and a teenager might not be the best gameplan.

This is why I don’t see Man City winning the title. Defensively they are easy to play against now they are just not good enough. And even attacking wise they are not as threatening against bigger sides sometimes.

WHF MOURINHO okay and before 4real puts me in a box ... it was technically a penalty! irregardless if his arm was uncontrolled, THAT is not an excuse, and the ball connected with his elbow and deflected to change the course of the ball ... just put some airholes in please

No common sense being shown by refs and I don’t think they are being allowed to. It's definitely a case of them not being allowed to. The rule is pretty clear: if the ball strikes an arm that is raised to shoulder level or above - accidentally or not - it's a penalty. The rule is daft, but we're stuck with it for the time being.

Anyone that tipped Man Utd & Chelsea to challenge the top two looking silly now. Still early days so I wouldn't rule it out just yet, especially since City just lost 5-2 to Leicester.

As a Liverpool fan I was made up to see the result today just hope my team can take advantage tomorrow by getting the points against Arsenal tomorrow.
