Simeone Inzaghi is the new Inter manager, Allegri is back at Juventus after Pirlo was sacked. Just wanted to comment on these as a Milan and Serie A fan. Inter is in a bad way. Before the pandemic they were in very steep debt and winning the league wasn't enough to stabilize them. They have to net at least 80 mil in transfers this summer. Hachimi is likely going to PSG... and Inter has still yet to pay Real Madrid for that transfer so mote are needed. Conte left because he didn't want to deconstruct the club. Inzaghi is an underrated manager for what he has done with a Lazio team that doesn't really have the funds to invest. Clear downgrade from Conte tactically but for a team in financial peril that has to be torn down he is a good choice. Pirlo? Juve was just too big of a job for him right now, but that is also a team that needs to trim fat. He was expecting his reputation with the players to translate to respect as a manager and it just didn't.

Any Man City fan who argues anything else but attributing their success to being gifted billions of pounds deserves to be trolled.
Even the argument of Guardiola's management skills being responsible would have to ignore the fact that were it not for those billions, he would not even be Man City manager,
That is why Man City fans are so resentful. It is not enough for them to win things, they want respect, and they will never get it because of the resources that have been dropped on them.

Even the argument of Guardiola's management skills being responsible would have to ignore the fact that were it not for those billions, he would not even be Man City manager, In much the same way, the argument can be applied to Guardiola himself. While undoubtedly a talented manager, his true ability will always be clouded by the fact that he's never been in charge of a team that wasn't already built to dominate. His Barcelona side had five or six of the greatest players in the world when he took over, including Messi coming into and at the height of his powers. He went to Bayern after they had just won the domestic treble and the Champions League, and merely maintained their league dominance while failing to match their European success. At City he's had almost limitless resources to work with. I won't talk down his achievements too much, as managers have failed with similar levels of talent and resources available to them, but I'd love to see him in charge of a mid-table team and try turn them into consistent championship contenders.

It's a good choice.
Brazil is renowned for its lack of political trouble and coronavirus.

I wouldn’t have left Lingard out of the squad considering the form he was in at the end of the season. Leaving Ward Prowse out is also a big call considering the injury problems for Henderson, Phillips & Rice.
Taking 4 right backs I don’t mind too much considering all 4 deserve it and Walker is probably just going to play right in a back 3.
I’m very happy as an Arsenal fan to see Saka make the squad though thinking he wouldn’t have gone if Greenwood was fit. Saka can play in multiple positions though and surely that can help England.

Leaving Ward Prowse out is also a big call considering the injury problems for Henderson, Phillips & Rice. I'd have kept Ward-Prowse in the squad, myself. His energy and ability on set pieces is something I feel like we may end up missing. I see Trent being used as a winger/wing-back rather than a defender if we use that system, though I wouldn't be surprised if James is the starter. If Southgate sticks with the four at the back as he has in recent games then I'd expect him to use Walker and Trippier. Saka's a very useful player to have, for sure. Surprised by his inclusion, but not disappointed.

Speculation seems to be pointing to Nuno Espirito Santo taking over as Everton manager.
As much as it sucks Ancelloti left but Santo seems like a damn good replacement considering what he did with Wolves.

England players booed for taking a knee.
I'm already sick of the return of "fans". I prefer an empty stadium and canned noise to these shitbergs.
If I was a player, I'd just get up and leave the pitch. Deny them the match. Football authorities should support them if they did so.
