As most people learned with the Harambe incident years ago, every legitimate zoo keeps a small arsenal and trains some of their keepers how to use it in case a dangerous animal (bears, big cats, great apes, elephants, hippos, etc) either gets loose or a visitor gets in the enclosure.
Many years ago, there was a very well-written book where an author spent a year at the Philadelphia Zoo, just detailing the day to day life at the zoo. When they got to the chapter detailing this procedure, the author asked the keeper in charge of of this group what was the one animal he was most scared of seeing coming up the path at him. He didn't even hesitate to say the polar bears. They're an incredibly dangerous animal to be anywhere near.

Are we sure it was not just Sub-Zero doing his animality?

I thought you just offer those cuties crackers like in Russia?
Polar bears are the most mystic and interesting animals in the world along with penguins and otters! (Not including doggos.)

Does anyone else find it ironic that a poster with this particular screen name started this thread?

Now they might press charges against the man who shot the bear , it was totally justified if the bear attacked

I saw an albino polar bear once. I know you are trying to be funny, but that would be a really big problem for a polar bear actually. They are not white; they are black. They only appear white because their hairs function not unlike fiberoptic cables, channeling light through reflection down to their skin (the fur appears white because of the light that leaks out, from what I understand). Their skin, being black, absorbs the light and it heats them fairly efficiently. If they were albino, it would not and they would probably freeze under environments that many polar bears could easily withstand.
