I could have gone either way on EVIL and Sabre, but kinda glad Sabre got the win.

Might be a minority opinion but I really think it's starting to push my suspension of disbelief that so many people would still fall for Yano's tricks.
It's one thing if Moxley does it considering he's never faced him but, SANADA has been around for some time. He has to know what he's getting into with YTR. How many times must Yano use young lions before his opponents just decide not to go near them? Or better yet, don't leave the ring at all. He's always trying to get you counted out. Just stay put.
It's to the point where it becomes less about Yano being clever, and more about everyone else being a bunch of idiots.

The only time anyone ever didn't fall for it was when Yujiro planned ahead and wore a cup to protect himself in one match which makes you wonder why no one else ever does

I could have gone either way on EVIL and Sabre, but kinda glad Sabre got the win. Liger and Milano on commentary going nuts when Sabre got the pin was hilarious and awesome. It's heel vs. heel, but they're so mad at EVIL's betrayal that when he gets European clutched, they're all "ZSJ! ZSJ!" while EVIL and Togo argue it was two. Perfect.

So they go in thinking that they're above him and they get caught. Basically people end up being too clever by half since Yano's cheating is well known. Sanada losing that way especially makes sense, sine he'd fought him three other times and thought, that he'd never been able to do it before then so he thought he was safe.

KENTA is happy to finally be back on New Japan World but, what's this? A new cameraperson? Where's the old one? Will they come back? Will the new one stay around? What about his new girl on New Japan Strong?
Also, KENTA gives us his mind-blowing secret for how to get through quarantine with his sanity intact.

First they turn him into Sailor Mercury, and now he's the new target of the biggest troll in wrestling.

Have to say, while A block has gotten a lot of the pre-tournament hype I felt like the stories told in the ring on the first night of B block took the cake, for me.
-YOSHI/Juice was a great "Hey guys, remember Juice? He's really good!" showcase that didn't shortchange YOSHI HASHI at all, it got him over as seeming more confident in himself (like that he wore his belt to the ring) and invested in his fighting spirit. -KENTA/Goto had a fun start with Goto being too strong and experienced against KENTA to fall for his trolling and bullying tactics, but KENTA adjusted and savaged Goto's arm. I liked Goto returning the favor, working KENTA's arm, and suddenly putting the finish in doubt, but KENTA got a legitimate win, there. -EVIL/Zack was a great way to get over just how, well, evil EVIL really is, that Zack came off as a diehard babyface and proved that he's still one of the most dangerous draws in the tournament given how many ways he can beat someone. -Tana/Naito was just epic in its story structure, with Tana basically wrestling the perfect match for about the first 75% of the proceedings before running into the wall that is Naito's resilience. They wonderfully got over in both Tana's actions and his post-match comments that "I put everything into that match", and now he's now afraid he might not have enough left for the rest of the tournament. Fantastic, A+ storytelling.
Really looking forward to Suzuki/Taichi (LOVED the Suzuki/Ishii match, but how could I not?), strangely interested in Okada/Yujiro because it just seems ripe for shenanigans to put Okada in the ol' ace-shaped 0-2 hole to start.
