That moment when you missed football but didn't miss Cris Collinsworth "NGHMFWHNMWEELLLLLL Alllllllll......" is his typical grating sentence starter. I can't hate on the slide, though.

That moment when you missed football but didn't miss Cris Collinsworth He’s among the very best in the game at diagnosing a play and analyzing why it happened, but he’s at his very worst when he’s broadcasting a game with a veteran player that people have begun to doubt. I remember a few years back when Peyton Manning had regressed to a clearly below-average quarterback, yet after every four-yard checkdown to the running back or every slant pass over the middle, Collinsworth would chime in with some sarcastic line like, “Now Al, I though washed-up quarterbacks weren’t supposed to do things like that!” Collinsworth will be at peak insufferability this season when Sunday Night Football has the Packers (Aaron Rodgers), the Buccaneers (Tom Brady), the Steelers (Ben Roethlisberger), or the Patriots (Cam Newton/Bill Belichick).

Him and Gruden when he was doing commentary is horrible at that Stop trying be everyone friend and hype everyone up. Chris Webber does that too much in the NBA

Saddened by the Chiefs fans at the game tonight. And I say saddened because I know plenty of Kansas City fans who are good people.

Watching this game (and the college football that I’ve seen over the last few weeks) reminds me how intensely weird Sunday’s Patriots game is going to be with zero fans in the stands. I’ve grown accustomed to NBA games with virtual fans and baseball and hockey games with empty stands, but no sport relies on crowd interaction quite like football, so it’ll be extremely challenging to get past how unusual it’ll be to see 68,000 empty seats in Gillette Stadium on Sunday. Hey Travis Scott has his own burger at McDonald's. One question, WHO THE HELL IS TRAVIS SCOTT!?! God I'm old. It’s cool, I still haven’t heard “WAP” and only just recently found out who Megan Thee Stallion is, so I’m right there with you.

I've only heard WAP from people reading a little bit of the lyrics and honestly since hip hop is really not my thing, I have zero interest in listening to the actual song.

Y'all just ain't paying attention I know who Travis Scott is. I’m aware of the Kardashian connection and watched the Super Bowl halftime show two years ago. I need to find a less smug way of saying this, and I’m working on it, but I haven’t listened to the radio since February 2018 after the Patriots lost Super Bowl LII. I swore it off when I gave up sports radio and I started listening to podcasts. So I basically have no concept of what’s popular in music right now other than (sigh) country music, which I listen to when the missus is driving.
