Well here's this out of the way: "Wrestling is fake." Oh no, those dead people are definitely dead, and those broken limbs that broke right on TV are very broken, and the concussion thing is totally true especially in that one case where a guy killed his wife and child and then himself. ".........well obviously not that stuff. But everything else is fake." ..........yeah, pretty much. ¤°`°¤ø,¸¸,ø¤°`°¤ø,¸¸,ø¤°`°¤ø Here's the thing, though. The broken bones/concussions are the result of accidents. The real purpose of wrestling is protecting the other guy. I agree with staged being a better term than fake, but that's pretty much what people mean when they say it. Sure they're ignorant to how grueling wrestling can be, but they're not wrong.

This is a minor weird one for me, but a weird one nonetheless.
When they revealed Simon and Richter Belmont for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, people not knowing who Richter was...despite him doing a paraphrase of the bad dub quote that's become meme worthy AND knowing who Alucard was when he appeared later on. Especially bad when people said they loved Symphony of the Night.
How can you love Symphony of the Night and NOT know who Richter is? You play him before you play Alucard!

People who think anything superhero or animated is for kids. Years ago when I saw Ted, an idiot father had three kids aged 3 - 8 with him. Remember reading about parents bringing their kids to Deadpool too. DO YOU NOT SEE THE RATINGS LOGO!?!? I used to work with a woman who one day was furiously going off about how disgusted she was with Watchmen. Apparently she'd taken her son and daughter under the age of 10. When my co-worker pointed out that it was rated R and even displays why it received said rating, she went "That's bullshit. Superheroes are for little kids. I shouldn't have to look at the rating on a superhero movie." Yep. When I worked at Blockbuster I went out of my way to tell a lady who was renting Kick-Ass for her grandkids that it wasn't a kids movie. she said "no no it'll be fine". She came back the next week to get movies amd told me she was just going to take my word for it in the future. We had a laugh.

It just happens as you get older. I enjoy pop culture and sci-fi stuff but there’s a lot of fandoms I don’t know crap about. A lot of people only know Who Ozzy Osbourne is from Post Malone. Which I feel sad typing that. I'm going to call out myself here. I don't keep up with the music scene, usually only hear about a hot new act a couple years or so after their global debut. So, despite him already being quite well known to most, the first time I heard the name "Post Malone", I thought I was super witty for deciphering the internet's new nickname for Karl "The Mailman" Malone. Honestly I think it was just good marketing on Ozzy's part. If doing collaborations with Post Malone gets people to check out his music or even other metal stuff, then who the hell am I to fault him? Metal scene isn't going to replenish itself by appealing exclusive to people in their 30s.

My personal favorite has to be hearing someone say Batman vs Superman is what you do when you've run out of ideas (even though it's been a popular battle within DC Comics for decades), and imply that regular people didn't know who Martian Manhunter was (even though he was part of the Justice League line-up in the extremely popular, then-recent animated series).
The reason it's my favorite is because that someone was David S. Goyer, a "self-professed comic book fanatic" who basically adapts comic books to film for a living.

Oh, I don't agree with the notion that it's in anyway negative, I was just quoting for the Post Malone reference in regards to the topic at hand, and didn't think to cut off the second sentence . Ozzy is far from the first to attempt to expand their fanbase by appealing to prospective young, modern audiences. (Though I do dislike how Travel Channel started airing "Osbourne's I Want to Believe" Sunday in the junk hour between TLC's 90 Day Fiance and 90 Day Fiance: Pillow Talk . That's the only chance I have to catch Paranormal Caught on Camera! )
