Not afraid to admit it, watching vtubers play Lethal Company is kind of addicting.

For me, the recent clips of the second VCR GTA series has been fun. Kinda hoping and waiting for the hour long subbed clips to drop to really appreciate the chaos.

kson mentioned her personal list on the Mount Rushmore of VTubers: Kizuna AI Akai Haato Ironmouse Kiryu Coco Honestly, it's a fair list. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Tooting her own horn a bit, but agree. Kiryu Coco did help pave the way for holoEN and the landscape of the EN vtubing sphere.

Well this is a thing as one of the O.G members of Nijisanji EN is suddenly no longer with the company by the end of the month: Scorched earth treatment and everything so things might be imploding behind the scenes worse than theorized by most in the know. Also This really is a blow to my room mate as he one of the biggest Pomu stans there is, even the comfort that she does in fact have friends in high places at the other two major Vtuber promotions Hololive and VShojo so the chances of her landing on her feet is very high doesn't seem to easing the pain at all.

Huh. Wait. What?
For real, not something I expected. All the goings on with NijiEN news, this was unexpected in this case. Like, whoa, what that sorta thing.
Completely unexpected, like what the hell. Her getting so into the Metal Gear franchise was fun, and while if she chooses she'd land on her feet on the streaming scene and if that's the case we'll see her playing the remake of MGS3 when it happens, but still...
In terms of certain things, this is gonna keep up the roughness regarding the opinions on some with regards to Niji management. Like, hell, discussion elsewhere will be pretty unpleasant to look at with regards to the tone of certain topics.

In terms of corporations, VShojo feels like the more likely bet if Pomu is gonna jump ship to another company. Two NijiENs recruited already, and one from Hololive... like, never say never with Hololive, but up until they do it... or do it with the EN branch since they already did it once for their JP branch, it feels they're more cautious in building their EN brand.

That was a shock to see, especially with all the news surrounding Selen instead. Wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

Man, the joke of “Which Niji member will graduate this month?” is becoming less of a joke with each month that goes by.

Yeah I can see Vshojo be the most likely final destination as Ironmouse, Henya, Matara and Kuro would most definitely have her back and from the sounds of things their management is WAY more open to working with all their talent and giving them the resources they need to put on the kind of streams they want to do. It helps that the company is pretty much run by one of the cofounders of Twitch and the lady who helped start the English Vtuber revolution. And speaking of, as an aside we almost got an alternate timeline where Niji EN's first wave were almost a part HOLOLIVE EN first gen as all three made it to the final round of auditions for Myth and most likely would have made it Council/Promise had they had not been hired by Nijisanji before that

Wow, that's sudden. I know she's had a lot of push backs on things she's wanted but this still came out of nowhere.
On the brighter side, Goober will be in the Myth Lethal Company stream today.

Even if she moves on I'll miss Pomu's assets... Her design was just so good, and she had so much random things that have developed around her like Frogbert. Will someone please think of the LORE!!!!!
But they gotta do what they gotta do.

Hololive JP gen 1 liver Yozora Mel has been terminated after leaking info to third parties.

Another NDA breach, it seems. Unlike Rushia, the termination seems a bit more amicable as Mel got to do a goodbye tweet and YAGOO and the staff tweeted their goodbyes as well. Still sucks, but it is what it is.

Mel's PL account tweeted. Basically confirms things. She said something to a third party about certain details, and said third party leaked enough to make Cover notice.

NijiEN's Kyo Kaneko announces graduation. Whatever the reasons may be, but it's definitely not a good look for NijiEN to have a graduation announcement every month for a while now.
Aside from that, the Mikeneko situation has been a wild couple of days. So far, it's a he-said she-said situation, so the truth has been hazy and who knows how it'll end.

Kyo doesn't surprise me one bit. It was obvious he was getting tired of things, especially people making light of his condition. Still stinks. He was one of my favorites there.

It does seem like there are systemic problems within Nijisanji EN that need to be resolved as soon as possible to help the talents out.
Especially compared to how civil Mel's situation turned out for Hololive, or even compared to Magni and Vespers exit from Holostars EN.

Opinion on Niji has soured for quite a while, and Selen's situation has gotten things really boiling. In general, it seems like there's not enough people management-side for NijiEN. Apparently, they hired a new higher up for NijiEN, and some of the livers have mentioned good things coming up, so hopefully that's something. That said, until there's word on the Selen situation, the fanbase in general won't improve much in terms of their opinion on Niji. Also, there was a period of time when fan perception of hololive has been sour. Balls in Niji's court, if they can improve, then that'll be good for them in the long run.

Yeah save for what happened with Mel, Hololive has improved greatly over the last year and change especially with the EN side of things with them ditching their old manager (Omega I think their name was) for some new blood and having A-Chan taking a more active role on their side of things too. And of course brining in Advent was also good move as all of them have been well received not only by the fans but by pretty much all of their co workers as well. The only real minor contrivances they've faced were Gura and Ame taking a bit of a hiatus during the latter quarter of last year, but that was mostly due to a combination of burnout and work related stuff (Remember Hololive is more than just streaming being an idol company after all, so a lot of dance practice and promotional stuff needs to be worked on.) And both are back now and just as good as they ever was.

And it happened. Selen Tatsuki has been terminated from Nijisanji, including all her VODs being privated. No graduation stream.
In the end, all one can do is hope she lands on her feet after this.
Oof. Just saw the tweet on Selen's PL account.
