Wanna know what the real kicker here is?
You know the instigating incident in all this? Anycolor pulling Selen's "Last Cup of Coffee" video because she allegedly didn't have "proper authorizations" for the song?
Well, that's nonsense, since Lilypichu herself has said that she gave Nijisanji the permissions to use her song as far back as August of 2022. Over a year ago.
The only thing that could maybe be considered problematic is that there are some group shots of EN Livers with Mysta and Nina in them- which really shouldn't be a problem, because Niji owns both those character designs, and they both left in good standing. It's not like a Yugo or Zaion situation where they got terminated without a graduation stream.
So in reality, Selen likely got suspended because of art that may or may not have been commissioned before those two graduated being in the music video, and management decided to portray her as a habitual rulebreaker rather than acknowledge that they overreacted.

It certainly is bizarre that they're going through this effort to do all this. Like, prior to Selen and Zaion, terminations were brief with regards to their JP and I think KR branch. Now they're going scorhed earth, and making sure to dig the ground under that and burn that too.

To lighten the mood... Since there's a thread right now about the movie Hereditary... here's an old one, where Pekora watches and reacts to said movie.
She also watched Midsommar.
Also Ame watched Hereditary too.

Over 62K in the Dokibird stream. Starting now.
Edit: She spent $200,000 (assuming Canadian) and made NO PROFIT.
Totally not a black company folks.

Peaked at 125k+ live viewers.
It's crazy because Dokibird said she was willing to leave on neutral terms, but of course Niji didn't and everything is on fire.

Over 1.2M views and she's 41K away from her 500K goal. Also her limited edition bundle seems to have sold out in under half an hour, leading to the shop being back down to fix some more issues. Edit: She will have a monetarization stream tonight at 10 EST.

Yup. Nijisanji is digger themselves further. Wow.
So TLDR, Doki had scheduled a 8 PM steam for of all things, a NeoPets stream. 30 minutes before the steam it was announced on Elira's account that they would have a stream talking about the situation. I'm not watching the stream but apparently it has had Elira and Vox read prepared statements calling Doki a liar. Doki caught wind of this and said to not believe the lives and that she would be releasing a statement soon. Her lawyer contacted her and she had to end her stream. They also apparently broke NDA's during their 15 minute statement.
I feel so bad for most of the livers in the EN branch at the very least.

Oh you are joking. It boggles my mind how something like this could be so mishandled. Compared to how Cover has handled their terminations and such, it's night and day.

Who else but Kurosanji?
Guys could have just left well enough alone, take the L and hopefully use it as the basis to start rehabing the company's image...but nope!
Now I am glad our favorite Metal Gear loving fairy decided to call it quits, because that easily could have been her in that spot.

Apparently the statement Elira, Vox, and Ike read included references to a legal document that was only supposed to be seen by 3 parties; Doki, her lawyers, and Nijisanji's own legal department. Which if that is the case, oh Nijisanji just opened themselves to a legal cluster bomb. And now Doki is wondering if the bastards had also been leaking her medical info throughout the company as well.

The wild thing is now we have a rough picture of who the ones bullying her were(because this document was related to that, so everyone named in it were parties she claimed to be involved in it), and sadly much as people only wished it was Niji staff, multiple EN talent were listed in it.

Thank gawd the only VA's I actually pay attention to outside of HSR VA's are Mina Aoyama and IronMouse. Ironmouse and her crew being FAR AWAY from this shit makes me very happy honestly. Conner however had to recently make a video as to WHY he can't talk about this shit, like it wasn't you know... obvious for legal reasons.

It's very convenient that all the complaints being made against Selen in that video are word-for-word the same stuff they said about Zaion when she got fired- and stuff she's still getting harassed over to this day.
It's very convenient that all the Livers they chose to deliver this message- Elira, Vox, Ike- are among the most popular in EN, meaning they likely have the most loyal fanbases who will spread this video as gospel, and/or they can take the biggest hit on subscribers (which has happened, since Elira and Ike have both lost about 3-4000 subscribers since that video was posted- Vox hasn't taken as big a hit, but his fans are unhealthily parasocial, so I can't say I'm surprised).
It's very convenient that all of the EN Livers have retweeted the video with some variation of "please watch this video, and hopefully this will change your mind on this whole situation" as a caption. Definitely haven't been forced to by management, no siree Bob.
And most importantly, it's very convenient that they just happened to schedule this video at the exact same time that Dokibird had scheduled her first gaming livestream since her graduation- a game they wouldn't give her permissions for, btw-, meaning she had to cut the stream early and talk to her lawyer about the situation.
I'm done. I've unsubscribed, unfollowed, and muted/blocked every EN account I previously followed. I know that realistically, they aren't all involved in this, but I now can't trust any of them to not be corporate bootlickers to a black company.

So turns out part of Doki's medical info WAS shared around the company. Apparently only her diagnosis and the reason for her hospital stay, but this was still info that was part of the info that was requested to keep private from anyone but the Niji legal team. Oh they done messed up now.

I sleep in late and what the hell happened? TLDR: Doki was about to have her first gaming stream. Niji decided to have Elira, Vox, and Ike speak (almost certainly read a prepared statement) about how Selen was in the wrong with certain things. It was revealed in the stream that they were given access to Selen's medical info. Doki had to cancel her stream and get on the phone with her lawyer because of this. Tatsuki is set to have a video about this as well. Just hope Doki is OK. Mummei had been pushing her karaoke stream back evey 15 minutes. She's very close friends to Doki (she kind alluded to it without saying it in one of her recent streams.)
