WWE Draft Pool and Rules

I cannot fathom how anyone can even feign enthusiasm for these anymore. They rules mean so little, as they constantly get broken/amended/forgotten (sometimes in the middle of the same show). Oh wow, AJ Styles is no longer on Smackdown! Until they introduce a wildcard rule, or a supershow special, or Vince just forgets as usual.

I never really understood why wrestling on Mondays with red ropes is so different from wrestling on Friday with blue ropes. Smackdown has been better than Raw lately, but it's still all the same company (having all your belts look identical doesn't help).

Oh, and we're only a month away from the Survivor Series, so seperating people just to have them wrestle again immediately does undermine this a tad. And don't get me started on Retribution... announced via official WWE Twitter, given contracts, & now eligible for the company draft. Stick it to the man, yo!

The only wrestlers on the Roster Page that are not part of the Draft are The Big Show, Wesley Blake, Steve Cutler, Bo Dallas, Ivar, Samoa Joe, Kane, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch, Mojo Rawley, Jaxson Ryker, Lars Sullivan, & Jimmy Uso.

Okay I'm tired of stables/tag teams being drafted together. If you wanted a large roster you'd just choose Hurt Business, Retribution and New Day to get 12 people off 3 picks.

They should do it the classic way where anyone could be drafted and we had moments like APA breaking up or Shelton breaking up with Haas to start his push.

I preferred the shake up because the whole making a big deal of draft picks either leads to giant let down or they over compensate by drafting people for shock value that they don’t know what to actually do with

I hated that roulette style because of the times

Guy wins match and the loser of the match gets drafted to the brand he just lost to and he happily puts on a red/blue shirt

Guy gets drafted early in the night, gets drafted back at the end of the night

The entire roster is up for grabs basically. Think of it as everyone's contracts were up for each show so they could be selected by either show. It's actually easier to understand than their last few drafts where the rules were never explained.

What makes no sense to me is that Smackdown tonight drafted 9 people and Raw drafted 18. They already do the 3 picks for Raw and 2 for Smackdown, but this whole thing is just so imbalanced it makes no sense.
