I love the idea of a more in-depth tag system.
Even if it is a simple mini-rythm game to perform sequences. It really would help get the feel of AEW tag matches to pull off the crazy tag combos

This is why you don't make final judgments about a game's graphics from an early build. These look solid. Shows how much difference just lighting can make.

I haven't seen 6 or 8-person tag matches confirmed so far. Will those not make it into Fight Forever despite all the stables that are around in AEW?

I dunno about 8 person matches but trios are a staple of AEW and also about to get their own champions. I'd be surprised if they weren't in unless they just couldn't get the AI right or something.

The movement looks right out of Day of Reckoning 2, which with there not being trios matches.. I kinda assume the game was built on that engine as a base. Which isn't a bad thing, those games were FANTASTIC. People just need to go into this game expecting something that isn't the 2K games. I've seen so many complaints about the models and graphic style, but from the start they always said they weren't going to make things hyper realistic. Hell I know Kenny has said "Temper your expectations for the game at launch". And with the game being a live service model new modes, characters, arenas, matches, etc. can all be added VERY easily. |

the stutter seems like it'd mess with the timing when playing.
I mean I can't say specifically until hands on... but still.

I doubt the stutter, assuming it's intentional and not a bug that has to get fixed, will have much impact on the gameplay. It's just a visual effect and wrestling games don't usually rely on frame-precise combos that need that tight execution in the same way as fighters do.
