Like, this wouldn’t be the first game to get improved from 3 months of tune-ups and it won’t be the last so I feel like it’s unfair to declare final verdicts until the actual finished product is out.
And I’d say this about any games. Heck, 2K22 had extra months and whilst it’s not perfect, it’s not the same disaster 2K20 was.

I'm leary about those Mario Party minigames. Like, I love Mario Party...I'm just not sure how it goes with the main wrestling game.

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but it really just feels like they said "shit we need to get this out, stuff mini games in to it to pad it out" instead of focusing on the stuff we're actually interested in... y'know rasslin. I wasn't expecting the world from this game, but it feels like they're going to drop a "we tried 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ buy it so we can try harder next time" |

They keep talking career mode but continue to show absolutely none of it. I know it’s not finished, don’t judge it until it’s out blah blah blah but man it just doesn’t look good at all right now, |

The graphics are fine. If the game has a good career mode then I'll buy it. If it is purely just arcade-style and individual matches then I won't.

Man, I’m all for the mini-games because it makes a different selling point from the other wrestling games out there. And if you have more casual fans, you can try and get them in through the mini-games rather than just the wrestling stuff.

The TNA game had some nice graphics but the Gameplay wasnt...good enough.

The TNA game had a pretty sparse roster and no real customization or create modes either, IIRC. Gameplay was weird too. Graphics were about the only thing it had.
I loved the AKI WCW and WWF for the N64 and they were never considered great in the graphics department. The first couple of Smackdown games, EA's WCW games, and even Acclaim's WWF games all looked better. But those N64 games were by far the most fun.

It should also be said that the TNA game had a messy developmental history and given to a team with zero wrestling game experience so the first one was always going to be the first attempt and using that experience for the next one…which never happened. |
