Kurt getting his head shaved was treated like a joke when it first happened, but it was a perfect move for his transition from comedy goof to intense wrestling machine.

JBL switching from long tights to wedgie trunks was an ugly, ugly scene.
Eddie Guerrero having some bleached hair around 2004 seemed trendy and very un-Latino.

He’s kind of short and stubby. You either have to be lean/lanky, jacked, or fat for trunks to work. Just can’t be middle-of-the-road (as far as wrestlers go) |

Just can’t be middle-of-the-road (as far as wrestlers go) I wouldn't say he never looked right That early period when he was in really good shape, he looked good and lean. Once he started putting on weight and more so resembling the Jericho we see now, it started to fall apart |

It took me a few months to get used to Cody as a blonde. And when he went back briefly to his jet black hair against Brodie, it felt so weird. Definitely prefer him as a blonde at this point

Perfect going from the standard trunks to the neon singlets. I don’t know if WMV was the debut appearance of the look, but it was the first time I saw it. The look was such a contrast to what he’d had before and stood out from the rest of the roster. More than that, though, it was such an awesome look that supplemented the belief of someone calling themselves ‘perfect’.

Never liked Chris Jericho wearing trunks. His best appearance was during his feud with the Rock back in 2001.

Going with stuff not mentioned already. I would have to say the first time we saw bleach blonde Scott Steiner took a while to get used too. When Taker turned in the end of 01 and cutting his hair. Seeing Taker with short hair took a while to get used to since he never had it AS Taker. More weird when he went full shaved moehawk thing in the mid 2010s.
Matt Hardy Key tights when he faced Jeff Hardy. After so many years with the baggy pants look.

Kane ditching the sleeves took awhile to catch on for me... I understand it was probably hot as hell working in full body spandex, but I still liked the original full body suit, or even the suit but with only one sleeve was good too.
