Mine is a tie, between the USS Enterprise-A, and the SDF 1 from Robotech.
When the SDF 1 rises from the lake to blast Khyron's ship in the final episode of the first series, and the swell of the Robotech theme song, gets me every damn time, no matter how old I am.

i had both ... two of the wee ones too OMG, I had no idea that the toys for that had a bar across the front just because kids are stupid and would stab their each other's eyes out otherwise. I was actually hoping that those ships would also get used in the BSG reboot since they were initially designed for the original run and repurposed for Buck Rogers. Also, who else had Wilma Deering as their first little celebrity crush? Yeah she was pretty nice to look at, but I was more of a fan of Ardala. How he resisted her efforts to kidnap him and make him hers I will never know! Hahaha. Speaking of Buck Rogers, the play it on ME TV in that sort of slightly sped up way to squeeze in more commercials and I honestly think it helps the show. It looks so crisp, its amazing!
Back the main topic: I was always a fan of the Star Blazers/Space Battleship Yamato/Captain Tylor look... Where is is sort of a WWII-esque navy ship spruced up and flying around in space! I see some of them have already been mentioned. And I honestly really like the War Rockets in the Flash movie (and indeed any of those movies that have spaceship look sorta steam-punky and rivety - like when they adapt a Jules Verne type work).

The Ark style Golden ships from G1 Transformers.
Also a huge mark for old school flying saucers.

Red Dwarf’s Starbug. Super distinct and has survived so many crashes Launchpad would applaud. Man that would be 3rd place for me,love Red Dwarf. 1.The shuttlecrafts from the original V tv show. 2.Tie Lexx and Colonial Viper from BSG.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that remembers and loves the Buck Rogers tv show. I grabbed season 1 on dvd early this year. Figuring my lady and I would marathon it over a long weekend....
"Wow this is cheesy." "Why is it so far in the future but they still dress like it is the 70s?" "Twinkie is annoying!"
After 3 episodes I gave up. Watched it all the next week by myself. And yea I get it she wasn't even born when the show was airing. So what appears cheesy to her is just pure childhood nostalgia to me.
and "ITS TWIKI DAMN IT!"

funny story when i was a wee bairn ... that's a small child in scotlandish ... i used to take the small buck rogers starfighter diecasts with me to sleep ... they were my teddy bears everyone and for some bizarre reason they always ended up at my FEET in the morning?!? and here's another one wishing i was stationed in moonbase ... and for no reason whatsoever, here's a totally unrelated picture, that was just lying there i swear ...

The only part of Star Wars Episode 1 that doesn't send me into a rambling diatribe are the vehicles, especially the spaceships. The Trade Federation flagship looks incredible despite making zero sense, Padame's ship is a Rolls Royce with hyperspeed capabilities, and the Naboo Starfighters are so clean and do a really good job of looking older than the Rebellion starcraft by using the massive twin jets but still keeping it modern with the low profile similar to the B-2 Stealth
Also, all of the ships in Star Fox are beautiful

Ah, the Moonbase Interceptors from "U.F.O.". Never got to see the series until I picked up the DVD set, great show. Always liked the Eagles from "Space: 1999", that they were designed to be modular and multi-tasking... they felt like something that would be used if that situation were real, y'know? Loved the models from that show.

The Millennium Falcon. Iconic in design, a big part of my childhood and it made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.
I always thought that the B Wing fighter looked really cool too. An underrated ship in the Rebellion fleet.

To me it was less the look (though Erin Grey certainly was a beauty), but it was the fact that she was an ass-kicking chick. I'm not exactly an Amazon-chaser, but they certainly do intrigue me.

The X-Bomber from Star Fleet. That thing kicked ass, and launch three other ships that became a giant robot!
Culture GSVs are pretty cool too.
